It looks like it's asking you to insert the VN cd to run the VN. I don't have it installed, but maybe their is a no-cd install file that came with the rars? Can you check if there is or isn't? Or maybe someone else knows more about it.

That is basically a screen asking you to repair (top option) or uninstall (bottom option). Try uninstalling using the bottom option. Click the bottom option, and then click the left option at the bottom to continue. Do that until it uninstalls, and then try re-installing the VN from scratch.

That is a error asking you to insert the disk. To get around that download this file (http://www.mediafire.com/?f6c74y91km4ayxl), place it in the VN's install directory, double click it to run the program. Nothing will pop up but that is fine. After that run the VN like normal.

The first Otome wa Boku is being beta-tested right now for MG and wont release for another couple months. The second one isn't translated yet, and no plans to translate it are in the works. If you need to find the status of a VN go to The Visual Novel Database. If you can't find an English release on this site it means it's not translated or currently being translated.

That was partially translated before NNL took the deal with minori and stopped the translation. NNL wants to finish the translation, but only if MG can work on getting a license deal for the VN. If that doesn't happen don't expect to see it unless another group takes over the translation from scratch.

Yea, you can skip one of the 6's. Looks like it was an accidental repeat link. As for understanding, most people on here don't understand Japanese, so we rely 100% on the English translation. That or using a translation program to help fill in the missing parts (extremely bad way to go about it). So for partial translations, anyone that plays only plays the parts that are in English. We then wait for more and more to be released.

The thing is, while the patch translates the VN into English, you have to have your computer set to Japanese locale to install the VN. Any errors you get with things like ?????????????????? or ±‚̃hƒLƒ…ƒƒ“ƒg‚ɂ͈ȉº‚ is the problem with the locale. So set your PC to Japanese locale, using the directions from above, and then retry the installation.

A month is just my estimate. I don't really know what they have and haven't completed yet. Insertion of everything, making sure word-wrap works, editing, proofing to make sure everything is good, making the actual patch, finishing this extra disk(don't know the length of). There are many things they might have already completed, or might still need to complete. So I just think a month or so is a good place marker on when we might expect it.

Since he is working on the extra disc now, maybe another month or so. Would give them time to finish up and make any corrections they need to do, along with whatever else might need to be done.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that you didn't change your Regional Locale for non-Unicode programs. That is about the only way to receive a error message you can't understand. Might be based on where you live, but the only emails I received were from the email I listed. Might as well just add both if you have problems and hope one of them is correct.
