Something might have gotten corrupted during the multiple transfers. If you can't install try to rip the files from the ISO to your computer again.

Just wondering... You transferred all the files from a flashdrive to your PC? If so there might be a problem with the program reading something because it was not installed directly to your PC. Try installing directly to your PC instead.

Just wondering, is the game installed in the default folder? Also, are you using the latest patch update from the VN - 1.1 instead of 1.0? As for advice, have you tried running the VN as admin? If not, right click on the game icon and click "Run as administrator". I think XP has that option... I use Windows 7, so if that option isn't available try this. Right click on the icon and click Properties. Go to the Compatibility tab, and you should see something for 'Run this program as an administrator'. Try installing in a new folder. Make one called Games in the C:\ directory so the path would be C:\Games. Install to that directory. Also, the files need to be installed to the directory so just extracting to that folder won't do you any good. Extracting or installing to the Program Files folder is what is most likely giving you any error. Extract the patches to another folder and then try and run them.

I think the problem is you are trying to install Kamidori into the original installation folder. From what I know of that title it is supposed to be done late September - early October with Beta-testing. Depending on problems and who takes care of the text insertion we should see that title in November or December.

And an update from MG:

The title mentioned in the email was not a nukige. It did surprise me when mentioned though. This is speculation as the title mentioned could mean something else entirely, but it went something like this: " *Insert Title* H-Scenes (there all that's left now)." Take from that what you will. And no, this title was never mentioned by MG as a title they have picked up. Yes, the pain of being tired and reformatting the PC. That and Windows being such a P.O.S. that it needs 500 updates and 100 restarts.

I also believe there is more then the one 'Secret' Project MG is working on. Pretty much thanks to an email I received with a title that surprised me, and from what it sounded like it wasn't a project that requires a port and still in need of a translation. Probably a total accident I received that portion, as they needed me to do something and that title was mentioned. And no, I won't mention the title. Gonna keep that secrecy until they mention the title name.
