Folks at Hongfire translates just the interface of japanese games but apparently don't want to commit to a full game translation.

Moenovel is the EA of Eroge? Or is Circus behind them?
If they plan to release the all-ages to later release the +18 version will be a mix of both circus and EA, but right now more EA with they fucking up a game in order to *apeal to a wider audience* bullshit.

*Reach a wider audience*..........the first thing that came up in my head when I saw that was EA lol.
And it is indeed a bad idea, 70%-80% of VN readers want H - scenes, some to fap, other because "It deepens the bond between MC and heroine", others just because of the feeling that *something is missing*.
They should have studied MG all-ages sales numbers before taking this step.
My opinion: This is going to blow on their faces.......hard. And fan patch will be made.....probably.

Because all-ages releases like Aselia the Eternal always get a fan-made patch that reinserts the H-scenes.
I think the decision to censor the H-scenes is a really bad move that demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of the English market. And by English market, I mean their potential customers.
You're wrong, the +18 version was never translated in the first place.
Dakkodango (translators) made the patch for the +12 because it contained the 2 extra routes for Kyouko and Tokimi.
Kono ichi no Hate de completely lacks all of the rape/sex/naughty scenes, and has no equivalents whatsoever.
The adult graphics replacer basically takes off the towels on the spirits for the bath scenes, and makes some characters have "panty shots" in some of the cg gallery pictures.
I saw a picture somewhere on the net of Aeselia standing over you with blood spattered on her, and her panties showing for virtually no reason in that scene when you first meet her.
Normally it looks like she does fully armored with no blood.

Everyone bitching around the internets about how aroduc has BETRAYYYYYYYYYYYYYED THE CLOSE KNIT CIRCLE-JERKING OF VN FANS WHO WANT FREE TRANSLATIONS just needs to shut the fuck up. Most of them didnt do anything to contribute to any VN except jizzing all over their PC screen on h scenes (myself included even though i didnt go that far , my PC screens are unblemished) . I find this whole thing lulzy.
