Her family seems to be strict or old fashioned. She has a very strange..... fear or bashfulness towards people seeing her bangs. She is more commonly seen with a hat in front of people she is not used to. But, it seems this has changed the more she becomes closer with Araragi.

She likes Araragi as more than an Onii-san and friend. But, the feeling isn't mutual. Except that she is, hopeful that the situation will change. The fact that she is more of the shy moe type character is also an added plus to the love comedy.
