I was trying to explain why VNs are unlikely to become massively popular. Although, if someone made a Twilight VN... dear god I doomed us all.

I agree with you there. KS was my first eroges and VN, and I only played it because my friends kept telling me to check it out. I went crazy over it and it really changed my life. But there were definitely points where I thought to myself, "Someone could be turned off of VNs from this," even though it was a perfect game. That's just the genre, unfortunately. Sure, you could have some that get insanely popular just like anime had in Pokemon, DBZ, Yugioh, etc., but it feels like this generation doesn't want to sit and read for hours on end.

Rin, obviously (KS). She's just so unique. Usami from G-Sensou no Maou (mmmm long hair), even though I haven't done her route. Mikan from Wanko to Kurasou, because of the feels. I'll have to pull another one from KS, because of her backstory and the fact she was my first route - Emi.

There is no futa.

I'd have to go with the anthropoids from Wanko to Kurasou, both male and female. They could have kids and we could have a new race of sentient beings.

Dracu-Riot! Progress: This doesn't look promising. Best-case scenario given this data is it progresses relatively linearly and is finished in a year; worst-case is it keeps slowing down and stops at around 30% in November.

This was an amazing game. I still don't have all the endings, but I've logged 30-40 hours easy on it. I even took notes and plotted out the ending flowchart. I've never used a walkthrough; I felt it would spoil the game. I am so looking forward to the sequel.

I'd like to proofread but actually would also like to help with the dialogue, which is usually somewhat stilted in these types of games. Also, I will be disappointed if this game doesn't have Lemon Lubricant or Yuuichi's Magic Touch (super-effective touch attack vs. female humans and animals!).

I can't think of an anime I've watched that I've really detested, and I've watched a LOT of series. Mostly, I just don't get into the series and stop watching. I guess the ones that are pretty bad, like Fruits Basket and Girls Bravo, I just watch ironically, laughing when they try to be serious.

Katawa Shoujo. 4Leaf Studios broke up after KS, but the official forums are going strong. There are a lot of people who want extra routes, like Mika and Yuuko (and Kenji), but it's never going to happen.
