to be honest you dont 1-hit all enemies with DLC weapons. true the 1st and 2nd generations are easy sauce with them , but on 3rd generation the enemies are much tougher , the DLC weapons turn out to be about their level in HP/damage ratio because their damage never scales to the increasing HP of the enemies. you cn have a party member with 150 or so on STR using DLC stuff , you will last as long as normally would without DLC stuff on 1st gen , except this time on 3rd and so on. TL;DR = DLC weapons will make you godlike on 1st and 2nd gen , not so much during 3rd. ESPECIALLY on hard.
