Still very surprised you liked it this much. I thought you would like it but a 10/10 never would have imagined you would like it this much. VERY VERY glad to see, probably your best review so far imo. Not sure if you know but one of the reasons why Higurashi Kai has better music is because since Ryukishi was just middle class with Ni he actually could only use only free non copyright music online. (The only people who also worked on Ni were his brother, himself, and his mother and father did advertising). Most stores wouldnt even carry his game because he was a nobody. But once Ni became popular after it spread online then it started selling very well so he was able to spend more money on Kai. Edit- Forgot to add which lead to Kai's success and then when Umineko was released at C72 it sold out in 30 minutes because Ryukishi would never have imagined it would be that popular. Also needed to add that the music in Kai was done by fans of Ryukishi who sent him music, Dai being the most influential as most of his music is in the game.

Definitely agree with this as it has drama as well as Planetarium.

This besides exceptions which playing a novel only once would make it impossible to get everything from it such Sengoku Rance Daibanchou -Big Bang Age- I havent even re-read Umineko

Maybe its just me but I dont have any problem with characters acting differently depending on the route. I in fact probably like that more personally.

Kinda wish they showed more about Saki and Satoru during this time seems kinda weird that they spend 1 episode which they jump 12 years into the future and next episode they might meet Maria again. [spoiler=Ever17] Here is the PERFECT example of why you dont need a sex scene. In Ever17 they have sex it says on the screen and we the reader can understand. They dont need to show us anything and we can understand that and they are in love. This shows people are capable of showing love and hinting at sex without even showing it.

Well that was easy.

I liked the opening and ending song at least. They got Ayane to do the opening for the anime as well at least.
