depends on how the eroge/vn is build up, if its a deep story one, i would say it should be as long as possible, but a few ones that i played just repeat themself and getting tard of lamish at the end, these kind should def not be longer than 10h

i like stories with more dark themed story than happy "hi myl ife is perfect, i like you lets make it togheter" plot line, its usually a bit deeper story line in these, for some exceptions.

I liked the muv-luv games, pretty much everything i need, good story, humour, fan service xD, and alot of diffrent characters. would prob top muv-luv as one of my favourite games.
