Sounds like it's just the first one for now, with S and the A series not in the plans. So unless they can somehow track down Takajun, I suspect they'll start from scratch. Or actually didn't someone else finish up the TL with Miyakos route at some point? They might reach out to them.

That's actually pretty clever, they've def. been watching Steam user behavior then. Doesn't matter how long a VN is, if it's over a certain price on Steam - most users bitch, not understanding the value. By splitting it up (and I assuming keep cost somewhat reasonable), likely to get more fish to bite.

It's likely more to do with Frontwing dragging their ass on their side of things - just look at the delays Himawari went through becuase FW took forever to do w/e it is MG needed them to do. Oh well, as was previously mentioned - best way to wait is to not wait at all; just push it from your mind for noe.

It's likely one of the largest titles they've TL'd. In other news, sounds like Libra's release date got pushed back to march or so next year.

I wonder what kind of reception the slice-of-life part of Muvluv will have - it's pretty bad (or maybe its just me that never could stand it). If I was Degica, I'd be a bit concerned about hype and sales dropping after the mainstream(normies) crowd gets a taste of it, without understanding the real strength of Muv Luv comes during Alternative.

Hoping at least by late august/early sept, like the previous. But I have my doubts it'll be that smooth - last time they had the fan tl to reference to, this time they don't (that plus FW has proven to be complete ass at work with publishers). May want to hold off on Labyrinth though until the whole series is done, unless you don't mind bullshit cliffhangers.

Tbh I actually dislike some of SPs business practices as well, but it's ignorance like "They also heavily censored all age Grisaia (jokes and other stuff)" that forces me to play devils advocate, because people are just plain wrong. Grisaia was never censored, the Steam releases have been the Vita versions all along. The rest is typically up to the dev, not SP. (just look at Himawari, the only reason we haven't gotten it yet is because FW won't get off it's ass and give the all-clear to MG) Rumor-mill hints that G-senjou never received a +18 release because Akebeisoft didn't want a +18 rel

Still have my doubts, even if he claims such. I doubt someone that dislikes +18 content would bother with a side business selling +18 content. Not to mention work on a Lose title (meitetsu); you have to be pretty knowledgeable of eroge to pursue a dev that mainly handles lolicon content. Anyway, time will tell.

Nonsense, Denpasoft (SPs' other half) would not exist if that was the case. He's basically catering to the all-age majority through SP, and quietly caters to the rest of us through Denpasoft. There are many titles that have a +18 alternative through Denpasoft, or sometimes a patch offered by the devs themselves. (assuming the dev wants a +18 release)

I wouldent hold my breathe, the guy was asking "Does this include the R18 content?" for the Steam release. Which obviously is'nt about to show penetration/vag/dicks. Might still be a chance it's just a miscommunication.

Not sure about Maggot Baits... I'm not a huge fan of overly dark themes, but people seem to really hype it. Might try it anyway, in case it surprises me. The two moe titles look decent enough - feel bad for Kouryuu lol, if he has to work on either. Though really, I'm just waiting for Himawari to be released from the depths of hell/limbo.

Been playing that Sakura Dungeon. Turns out I've actually played the game a couple years ago, before it was under Winged Cloud banner. I'll have to go through my VN storage drives to doublecheck, but it seems they must have bought the rights to the game and simply slapped their name on it (or else it was theirs all along, before they became "famous"). The new music is pretty good though - done by the guy that composed the music for Valdis Story.
