Takes place approximately 50 years after the original D.C. ~Da Capo~ game.
The story revolves around Sakurai Yoshiyuki and Otome & Yume, sibling granddaughters of the original D.C. ~Da Capo~ protagonists Jun'ichi and Nemu.
Download Da Capo 2 game:
This happens to be my favourite Visual Novel as of now.
I liked most of the characters, (I didn't like Otome, but given that she was the main heroine,
that is no wonder, since I usually dislike the main heroines) and the whole atmosphere
Though I felt kinda like they were making fun of the reader, like how some characters shared characteristics,
and even names from characters of the first game.
Almost perfect (if you like the genre). The only compaint I had was how they left Sakura out in the cold (the final DC route raised more questions than it answered imo), those things gets solved in Da Capo 3 though so I don't mind it anymore
imo only one of the arc's felt like the first d.c. it was Anzu's
her wish was made out of necessity
the other arcs didnt feel the same yumi felt like a watered down nemu
i understand that the tree was granting any wish but wtf is with a robot and mind reading again
why arent there more people who can read minds if the tree grants any wish?
i mean nanaka cant be the only person who cant talk to others without insecurity
i feel like im ranting
anyhow ill be await for when dc 3 is translated
Ivan said downloadani got a new DNS, so it's gonna take a while before the new DNS propagates throughout the world. Last night it was on and off for me.

I playedf the first one ages ago and only recently got around to finishing the second. It wasn't quite as good as the first imo but was still good. Only route I didn't really like was koko's cuz it really really made me want to strangle yoshiyuki for being an epic moron who totally and utterly misread what was going on the whole time and then latched onto nanaka out of a deeply flawed sense of guilt and jealousy >_<. Plus once you figure out the truth about yoshiyuki and the tree he wouldn't be able to keep his promise of visiting her. I wasn't surprised by nanaka being a mind reader since she was blatantly meant to be kotori 2.0.
I do agree that it was highly unlikely that nanaka was the only person to wish the ability to read minds on the entire island but I figure any others prolly had a more traditional form of telepathy making it easier to hide whereas she had to have physical contact with a person in order to read them. Otome did seem to have at least dirty mind reading when it comes to yoshiyuki but that coulda easily been chalked up to being so close to him lol
