The days which are wrapped in the scene of summer and to pass gently

An encounter with the girls repeated in the sunlight

Summer continues to where as well

She is waiting in the air

Kunisaki Yukito's deceased mother left him with the doll and her last wish that Yukito look for the "girl in the skies" because it is his destiny to save her. Only half-understanding what his mother meant, Yukito has been traveling across Japan, vainly searching for this myth-like girl his mother told him about. His latest destination is a small, sleepy town where summer has just arrived; and his encounter with a young girl named Misuzu there sets the wheels of destiny turning....

IMO, air is sadder than CLANNAD...

if clannad can make you cry for days, air can make you cry for weeks...

Air is definitely sad but it is un-realistic so it doesn't make me cry.Clannad is more realistic than Air IMO(both still contain supernatural factor though)

Nah, in Clannad you'be at least the chance that...

the main heroine, so nagisa, doesn't die.

But sadness overwhelms you before you reach that end.

Well yeah, I do agree that clannad's level of sadness is higher than air's but if you cleared the game for 100% then air's sadder (because of spoiler reasons I mentioned before).

I have to agree that Air is sadder...because

Misuzu dies no matter what as far as I've read online. I havnt played it myself so idk for sure, but she also dies in the end of anime which makes that the sadder anime for me too, in the end.there was no magical happy ending like in clannad.

Air needs a little more realism to make me cry.

I believe that clannad's biggest advantage, I'm talking about the anime, is its length. You've much more time to see the relationship between Nagisa and Tomoya, and because of this the sad scenes have way more power than the ones of air. And that's exactly the problem of air. Its storytelling is too freakin fast and can be confusing as hell.

Whatever, just enjoy the stuff you enjoy.

You are right. Flashbacks do the job.

    • I became the mayor after my father passed away. As the unlikable ‘Magic Trash,’ I used high-level props and awakened the magic circle! Unexpectedly, a frightened girl in her tattered clothes—Liz had appeared... No way, no! Did my guardian beast just get blocked by a girl like that?

As a demon under my control, Liz always looked arrogant as she kept competing against me. There must be one who wins and one who loses, even if it is by doing naughty things. But sometimes... she would also smile gently and speak of her loneliness, just like... the harshness was her defense so that no one could enter her heart.

As the thorns enveloping her sprouted new shoots, the city became more and more prosperous, but strange things also emerged bit by bit. The [Withering Flower] curse was gnawing her soul and somehow also affected me!

Luckily, Miss Fujiko arrives on the scene with an enchanted thread to bind both their life forces, saving them from certain death.

Over the next three months as Seiji and Yuuri slowly recover, the pair are on doctor’s orders to stay within one meter of each other or risk snapping their “red string of fate.” This means shacking up together and pretending to be a couple to avoid their classmates’ suspicions, but despite the clueless Yuuri claiming to be a “one-woman fortress with zero openings,” her natural powers of seduction quickly result in awkward situations that test poor Seiji’s sanity and self-control...

With his dream girl only centimeters away at every waking moment, will Seiji finally summon the courage to shoot his shot?

Time passes slowly, each day a suffocating eternity. Mina would stare at the dried flowers in her room, trying to convince herself that this space is the only place in the world where she belongs.

Seino Ran is a child of a wealthy family and has lived the life her parents laid out for her. That is, until she realizes that nobody truly cares about her. With that in mind, her happy life begins to fall apart.

These circumstances lead both girls to apply for a live-in job at a seaside lodge. Here they meet, and the two girls end up spending the summer together and healing their wounded hearts. They found someone they could trust in each other, something they never thought they'd find again.

Spending her days together with Ran and the owners of the lodge, Yanase Michiko and Naruse Himari, Mina starts to wish that she could remain there forever. However, Ran's friend, Tachibana Sanami, gives Mina a reality check—it's high time she faces her problems.

Mina is convinced that nobody likes her. She avoids speaking her mind, she avoids school, and she avoids everyone she once considered friends. And while facing those problem will be tough, she also doesn't want to go back to that room and go back to being her old self.

As the time they have left at the lodge dwindles, Mina desperately searches for a place where she can belong. As for Ran...
