THEY FINALLY RETURN HOME. BUT THEY WILL BE BETRAYED…

THE STORY SO FAR…

Following the devastating war between the democratic Solar Alliance and the tyrannical New Empire, the galaxy was split into two zones separated by the Neutral Rim, a buffer between the two states.

Weakened by war, the New Empire collapsed from within in the Compact Revolution. A figure known only as VENICZAR ARCADIUS led the people against their Imperial oppressors. Following the New Empire’s fall, Arcadius mysteriously vanished from public view.

Soon after, another entity claiming to be Arcadius returned and declared the formation of PACT. With the vast production base of the former New Empire, PACT invaded the Neutral Rim with the intent of striking the Solar Alliance.

Arcadius sought the hand of the Ryuvian princess for reasons unknown, but was thwarted by Captain Shields of the Cera Space Force.

He was further thwarted at the battle of Far Port, when Cullen’s blunder lead to the destruction of the PACT invasion fleet by a much smaller Alliance vanguard fleet.

What was envisioned by PACT leaders as a glorious invasion into the heart of Alliance space instead became a bloody foreign campaign fought in the undeveloped Neutral Rim.

With the Alliance Fleet approaching PACT space and their initial military goals now in tatters, VENICZAR FONTANA betrayed Arcadius in the Battle of Helion and took control of PACT.

Now unmasked, the truth of the entity claiming to be Veniczar Arcadius came to light…

Wait for the 2.00 patch and make sure to play Mask of Arcadius first.

I would have just edited my previous post to include this link rather than making a third post, but the site is doing it's weird thing again where you make a post, than the post disappears for an indeterminate amount of time before suddenly showing up again.

Actually that is a spinoff. The first of the series is Sunrider Mask of Arcadius free on steam Sunrider: Mask of Arcadius on Steam.

For those interested, this is actually the third part. Sunrider First Arrival and Mask of Arcadius are the first and second parts, respectively, both available for free on steam under the Mask of Arcadius. Is this V2.00 release? V2 added an hour to an hour and a half worth of story to the end of the game making it a lot better.

Stopreplay is correct. I just realized that a little while ago.

 

Is the fact that it is free normal, or is that a promotion that will expire soon?

 

I don't know anything about steam beyond its existence and want to do some research before I sign up for an account and do what ever else will be needed to download the game.

Paranoid much? MoA has always been and will continue to be free forever and there's a non-steam version. Steam itself is also free and dos not require you to enter any personal info to use just an email. If you want to know exactly what steam is just use wikipedia or something.

Hmmmm... so Sunrider: Mask of Arcadius is the first huh...

then i need to play that first before downloading this

 

i wonder if there any download Rar version for Sunrider: Mask of Arcadius

After reading the comment i understand thatliberation day is sequel of mask of arcadius. So because it's free i think i will download it on steam but is it all age or not ?

      Manage their food and water, send them out to explore and gather resources. Build the relationships between survivors, and become friends or something more.
      Exploring the world and experiencing different possibilities can open up opportunities, and unlock Photos. Meet up with other factions also contending with the virus and help each other, or avoid falling victim to those with ill intentions. Completing Missions and Expeditions will reveal more information about the world and the events that have taken place.
      Experience an apocalyptic storyline through the eyes of the character's in the world, read their diary to discover more about them and what happens in more detail. There are currently 4 different endings for the game, with different possibilities within each.
