I think the scene is something that you wait for as a reward. Because when nothing really happens after romancing the character you liek most apart from a kiss, its generally meh for me. Like how the Tundere will open up, or the CH Friend lets loose all their feelings. Its a real good emotional release that makes it quite enjoyable.
