Caelistas 12
Still got all the translated da capo's installed on my laptop with full 100% CG . Although the story and setting of da capo isn't innovative or anything revolutionary at all, i don't care. Da capo was one of the first VN's i played, and i consider it to be one of the "classics". Can't wait for da capo 3.
Dan. 11
I kept my Da Capo and Da Capo II save files, and then when I re-installed later and copied the save file, the CG's, scenes, etc. were all gone, but the actual saves were still there. Apparently it stores that stuff somewhere else. It was somewhat disappointing.

But I started it once to let it make the save files the first time before replacing it with my save file. Did I do something wrong? I thought it just saved the scene/cg information in a different place.
OneManArmy 82
I never saw the anime but I found DC manga sooooooo boring... and I dunno why, I saw it and thought: "Well, lots of people like it, why not give t a try?" Damn, it was tedious, didnt like even one bit. Is the anime close at all to manga or not really? Well I never read the manga nor saw the anime but even the visual novel wasn't that good. So don't expect anything awesome. You may find some good humor parts but I don't think that the story can touch your emotions. Da Capo 2 was a little bit more enjoyable but not a great fish either. Well just flip a coin I guess?

Zaig 10
For anyone interested, an X-Rated version of Da Capo 3 has been confirmed for near-future release here. At the time of this posting, Visual Novel Database has yet to list it. And as a reminder, the Da Capo 3 anime premieres Janurary 5th, 2013 - almost a week from today! ; ) Edited December 28, 2012 by Zaig
ret 12
About the save files: Some games keep a database file (unlocked CGs, etc) and separate game progress files (usually named in increasing fashion such as .s01, .s02 and so on). Make sure you back up any and all small files residing in the game data directory... I've had the same thing happen to me with several titles. I enjoyed DC2, we'll see about this one. Dan. 11
Here's what I do to make sure I don't lose my save files: backup the entire game directory to an external hard drive.

OneManArmy 82
Oh, btw, has anyone started watching the dc3 anime? It just started. I haven't watched it yet, but I downloaded the first episode. I only saw a trailer or something but it seems that the anime contains a shitload of fanservice. Bouncing boobs are everywhere! =\
