The story is set in very distant future, in a time when mankind is just recovering from decades of war fought between Earth and a terraformed Moon. The war was so devastating that it set technological progress back by decades if not centuries, which is why the settings don’t look futuristic. Although the world is now at peace, there continues to be distrust between the Sphere Kingdom (Moon) and the Earth Federation. Travel between the two is restricted for diplomatic purposes and confined to a single spaceport on Earth. A long time ago, unknown beings known as Kotona invaded Earth in search of food. Humans were unable to repel them until after a few years, some people gained special abilities known as ‘douryoku’ which allowed them to exterminate the Kotona and return peace to the world. Now, Seiichi attends the super-elite Kashinomori Academy which trains people with douryoku in preparation for another attack by the Kotona. Most likely incomplete download - 7zip is somehow unable to make distinction between passworded and corrupted archive. Try opening it in WinRAR and see what it says. Also, make sure that all filesizes are correct (all but last one should have the exact same size). Oh, by the way - this thread is over two years old.

SoniComi is based on Sonico, an overly busty amateur idol and mascot of Nitroplus, and features players as her cameraman. Naturally as a cameraman, you will both film and court her. The game flow will consist of two phases: the adventure and action phase. The adventure phase deals mainly with your job as a cameraman, giving you the task of planning her photo shoots to the client’s requests. Gravure fans will be happy to know that they actually get to take pictures as Sonico poses around the set. The action phase is similar to what players are used to in visual novel games – building a relationship with Sonico outside of work. These get broken up into scenes that involve physical contact, eye contact, and talking. Talking seems to be pretty basic, , but physical contact and eye contact seem to be the more interesting aspects. These include holding her hands at the right time, eliciting either embarrassment or a romantic moment. Likewise, eye contact during a conversation will be important. This means that either players will be rewarded for paying attention to Sonico or get a scolding for letting their eyes wander. -

If you have two VNs - one with gameplay and one with text only - with comparable "playtime" of 40 hours, the gameplay one will take much less effort to translate, since large chunks of playtime can be done with simply patching the interface - text portion of game with large emphasis on gameplay is relatively short, compared to those who have only text (wasn't Clannad text file like double the length of Lord of the Ring?...)

It will take long time. They didn't even announce release date yet. From the looks of it, Sekai/Denpasoft wants fans to buy the game twice, as they don't plan to provide any "uncensor patch" or "adult content addon" - impatient fans will buy the game now, to read the story, then again when adult version becomes available.

Roughly a year after his arrival at Mihama, Yuuji makes the unexpected decision to pursue promotion within CIRS. The action resumes with Yuuji in a meeting with JB at "corporate HQ," discussing the documents he submitted for review as a part of the promotion process - said documents pertaining to none other than Yuuji's own past. Meanwhile, back at the dorm, the girls find themselves unwittingly following along after Sachi and Makina restore the shredded rough draft of said documents. The irony, of course, being that prominent figures in Yuuji's past may just be continuing to exert their influence upon the present... -
The game follows Kasumi as he spends his first weekend of summer break with two girls from school, at his family's lake house, before he begins the summer of cramming before his college entrance exams. -
Don't skip tutorial text next time "Z" when in "map movement" opens up save dialog. "scene recall" is one of options when using bed in your apartament. You need to get at least 1 scene to unlock it (very early on).

Pasa's answer is on point. Also, make sure to restart your PC after changing the locale, for modifications to take effect. When in doubt, follow the instructions from FAQ he linked - if only I got 1$ everytime someone changed location instead of locale...
