  1. I could probably dig up several more titles, but by the end, I would be recommending half of the entire website.
  2. I enjoyed this title. It has the "Long Sexual Scenes" tag, but IIRC, it didn't have an overabundance of them. I skipped the incest route so I can't comment on that one. Here's another title that I enjoyed. Here's a couple with more of an action bent. FYI: The sister character in Riddle Joker is not blood related. Both "Siblings" are adopted. These two are more focused on the pure romance side, so it may have a heavier focus on the sexual content than what you are looking for, but I still enjoyed them. Another title: This title is actually has detective work game play. IIRC, most of the sex scenes show up as after stories. And if you want to go really old school, one of my personal favorites.

    Claire's Quest

Okay, I'm confused (not a new state of being). The title screen of the game says "Complete Edition" but I see evidence in game that this is still a work in progress. In my experience, a game usually doesn't get a subtitle like "complete edition" if it's still in the developmental stages. Such titles are reserved for re-releases that have all additional DLC per-installed. Am I just missing a point here?

    Claire's Quest

General FYI for anybody who cares: I only just started playing this, but unlike most HRPG's, this title appears to have a quality translation, or perhaps it was just in English from the get go. Useful tidbit: "F4" is the full screen command.
  5. Ivan, if you could keep tabs on this title for when it reaches completion, I would appreciate it. The version you uploaded is a still in development version with many missing features. I doubt this title is going to be finished anytime soon, but if you keep some sort of list of titles to keep track of, I would appreciate it if you add this one to it.
  6. Decades later, and I finally have an answer! Thank you!
  7. This is something I've been curious about for a while, and given this is a website that deals in pirated software, I'm hoping somebody here knows the answer. As of when the PlayStation 2 was the current PlayStation console, any attempt to use a Windows computer to make a copy of a PS2 game DVD would fail (while I figure this is highly unlikely, I suppose it is possible that trying again using modern computers would result in a functional disc, but I no longer have a PS2 to try with). Can anybody explain why it fails without getting overly technical? As I understand it, the basic structure of the data surface of a DVD (and CDs for that matter) are a series of concentric circles. Each circle is divided into reflective and non-reflective segments. The disc drive attempting to read the disc checks not the segment it self but the transition from one segment to the next to determine a "0" or a "1". Same to same is a "0" and one option to the other is a "1" (I may have that backwards). Shouldn't the disc copy contain the same set of reflective and non-reflective surfaces? If I were to theoretically physically compare the original disc with the copy disc (not that I actually have the patience to examine 8 GBs of "0s" and "1s"), shouldn't they be the same? Even if the PS2 and a Windows PC don't speak the same language, they are using the same "written alphabet". I.E. I don't need to speak Spanish to copy the letter "A" from one document to another. "A" is still "A" regardless of whether or not the document is in English or Spanish. As such I'm capable of copying a Spanish document without actually understanding what I'm writing. What is NOT copying that gives away the fact the copied disc is not an original PS2 disc? Like I said, I'm not looking for an overly technical explanation, or how to convince my computer to actually make a functional copy, just a high concept explanation of why it isn't working.
  8. Are we going to have to wait another year to see anymore progress on Hello Lady?
  9. Uh, are you being serious or are you taking a potshot at their incompetence? The creation of installer packages goes several dozen light years beyond my very limited knowledge of programming, but I find it hard to believe it takes a year to design a piece of software designed to extract an archive and put the results in working order on a computer.

    Chaos Dominas

VNDB Link: https://vndb.org/v26508 This may be a dumb question, but is the quality of the MTL even half-way readable?
  11. Welcome back to the world of the living.
  12. I asked for reputable sources. Kn1000a is not a reputable source.
  13. Little shogun mentioned this in last weeks translation status update post. Does anybody have a link to a news article or the like from a reputable source that talks about this?
  14. For those who don't know, just to put some perspective on this, the VN Hello Lady has been stuck at "100% translated and edited, Superior Entelecheia 50% in QA, engine work is finished" since AT LEAST October of 2020. I started this thread on October 17th, 2020, which is how I know: I'm kind curious what would make them sit on a title that close to completion for a whole year and not finish it. And it better not be another "intricate bug".
  15. WOOT! This one is getting closer to release!
  16. Based on the above description, this almost the perfect setup for a revenge story, its only shortcoming is that the heroine is married. I acknowledge that the heroine is not willingly betraying her husband, so my usual rants about cheating and infidelity don't apply, but I still think it would have been better if the heroine was single. Nothing in the description above says the husband wronged the protagonist, and by taking revenge against the wife, he is attacking the husband by extension.

    SWORD x HIME

@Ivan That's fine, I was just making sure that was intended rather than some sort of website malfunction, or perhaps the URL no longer led to the page it did when you set up the link, something along those lines.

    SWORD x HIME

@Ivan I don't know if you intended it as such, but when I try to follow the Steam link, I'm told I must be logged into the steam website to view that page.
  19. It is highly unlikely Ivan (the site admin) will upload that title. According to vndb.org, the game doesn't have an English translation, and this site is dedicated to to ENGLISH games, although it is possible somebody else will share a torrent or alternate website to download from. For what it's worth, I do appreciate that you went out of your way to be clear exactly what title you were talking about.
  20. It's an endangered species! A VN whose title actually makes coherent sense in relation to the VN's story! Disclaimer: I am only referring to the English portion of the title. As I don't speak Japanese (the presumed language of the non-English portion of the title), I can't offer opinion as to whether it makes coherent sense or if it is another RNG attached to a dictionary.
  21. For anybody who doesn't know what VN the picture at the top is from and wants to, I'm reasonably sure it's from Ren'ai, Karichaimashita.
  22. Can anybody offer a description of this title that would actually give me a basic idea of the plot. The above description reads like one continuous nonsensical run-on sentence. Is the setting present, near future, or distant future. What is this "Galactic empire"? And most importantly what is a Loveduction? Since this is the fourth one, it's presumably not a mystery to what they are.
