Hmm, mine stated when I was in high school 4 years ago, fapped to a lot of hentai back then, what with the hormones and all. I was looking for some CD's when I stumbled upon a curious disc. I went back to the dorm, put it in my drive, and lo and behold, it was an installer for a nukige! X-Change 3 to be exact. It was translated already back then, and the way sex was presented piqued my interest. Sadly, my interest in VNs did not last when my laptop's motherboard got fried since I was running it RIGHT OVER THE MUTHAF*CKING BED CUSHIONS (Jibun no Baka!). Fast-forward to two months ago. I have a new laptop, in university studying IT and it's summer vacation. Finished playing Mass Effect 3 and Diablo 3 is no good due to slow internet connection. I was browsing the net, lurking in Memebase and saw a meme about Katawa Shoujo. Of course, I have no crip fetish or anything but I was interested in finding out more. This ended up with me reading VN reviews in Yandere Translations. I decided to download my "first" VN and it was Kazoku Keikaku. Family. That concept actually hits me where it hurts. To make a long story short, it was a baptismal I never expected. It was no longer about sex for me. I wanted to read more. So far I've read only this much. Alternating between Utsuges and Nukiges. Downloading Little My Maid and Let's Meow Meow for some nukige action. Can't get over Dengeki's Sky Saga... Green Green (visual novel) wasn't translated right? It's made by the same people, albeit by the predecessor company to Overdrive.

Just joined here, finished Deardrops recently, going to start G-Senjou no Maou next and Yume Miru Kusuri and Hoshizora no Memoria after that... Can anyone recommend me a good, slow-paced, slice of life, English-translated VN that isn't that much of a nakige (not too sad please)?
