I'm already done with 2/5 routes of the very controversial Konosora localization (pirated it of course) and with the (also controversial) 1.0 uncensor patch. Overall feel of the VN for me is like Hoshizora no Memoria. A bit of drama here and there. I've done Kotori's and Amane's routes so far. I've said the word beautiful many, many times when I read emotional titles like ef and I guess I can say the same for Kotori's route. Even if there may be some cut parts unrelated to ero (who knows, I can't read the original to compare the two side-by-side), so far the execution has been smooth in my reading. The bgms, especially Morning Glory are a joy to my ears. The CGs are well made and the animated parts are great omake. Gripes: 1. Aaeru's ero-scene translations are PAINFUL to read. Who the hell directly translates the licking sounds as the onomatopoeia "peropero"??? 2. There are some trash MT'd lines on the initial parts of Kotori's route. Lazy QC'ing. AFAIK, the exclamation "Ita ita!"/"Itta Itta!" probably doesn't mean "ouch" when you see a person/people and discern their location. Unless you owe them money. 3. Aeroplane jelly song is NOT appropriate for oppai bouncing. 4. CG review is broken due to the ero CGs being added. The thumbnail and the zoomed CG doesn't match. 5. Some side characters are interesting enough to have a route (Kanako!). Hence, FD. But FD will probably not be translated due to too much ero. :sadface: 6. True route IMO is Kotori route. Not a fan of a VN with enforced playing order to have the true route as the first though. 7. Twin-tailed twin loli kouhais don't get much exposure on the first part of the game. Will post more when I'm done. Next up, the most butchered route, as the community has said, Ageha. So far my favorite character for being a total bro.

Awesome first episode. I know they skipped a bunch of conquests and jumped directly into the goddess arc, but it was handled quite nicely IMO. First episode was definitely action-packed, can't wait for next episode!

We have ourselves a new season here, and it's mostly filled with shoujo animes (or animes that have girl protagonists at least). Anyway, here is a new one from Type-Moon Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma ☆ Ilya, a mahou shoujo anime starring our favorite Fate/Stay Night loli, Ilyasviel von Einzbern! Show kinda reminds me of Cardcaptor Sakura, what with the card-collecting objective and all. When I'm alone and I just wanted to blast music or playing a game (not VNs), I use my laptop's speakers (MSI GE620DX), which are pretty good on stock (has THX surround), but I modded it with Realtek Gamespirit drivers, which combines SRS, Sonic Focus, Dolby and DTS options, all rolled into one. When I need privacy, especially for those certain VN scenes, I use my Razer Orca headphones. Very nice and comfortable to use. Plus, those Gamespirit drivers still take effect even with headphones!

This makes me happy. This makes me sad...

Spin-off OVA released and subbed! Magical ☆ Star Kanon 100% Great way to reacquaint with Kaminomi for all those waiting for season 3! Of course, Elsie and Kanon are the stars of this OVA. Not much of Keima though (only in SD form). We'll have to wait until next week to witness the full glory of the God of Conquest.

Necroed thread, LOL. I don't like how UTW did Accel World though. Literally translating a name/nickname (Kuroyukihime to Princess Snow Black) doesn't sit well with me. Just my opinion.

It's old and already finished, but the story and the character development of the protag, and just about everything else checks all the boxes for me. Currently at Vol. 6 Watashi no Messiah-sama

Nice episode 13/OVA, epic drunk Chuunibyou fight is epic. Episode doesn't do much for plot advancement, but it just goes to show that there are still some stuff that they can touch up on come season 2.

Reading Cage of Eden after seeing you guys talk about it in the SB. I have no words to say. The character development is great, there's ecchi and mystery. Currently at chapter 101. No doubt a great find and a true diamond in the rough.

Thankful for their existence either way. Fantranslators will always have the risk of having real life, lost of interest and other factors intruding upon the translation work that they do for free. Whatever comes out of MG and JAST's stables, I'd be grateful to have. That's my opinion as a member of this community. You do need to make money in order to stay afloat, in any industry, not just in Eroge. I just hope MG doesn't bite more they chew in this one, taking on so many projects in their pipeline that they can't release a product on a regular basis.

Not necessarily a good thing if 99.9% of those are nukiges. BUT there are some people who only need a good fap and nothing else. If they do have plot, MG might end up JASTing themselves and be unable to deliver a translation after 6513138131864634646755131 years in the pipeline.

Well, we're talking about KonoSora here anyway, not Aselia. If it's the general consensus that there isn't much to gain by making the localized Aselia into the original 18+, then I'd willingly give up on that project. But since a lot of content has been cut from KonoSora, I fervently hope that there is someone out there who will extract and re-insert the scripts back into the original and translate those other parts. /endofargument

I love how they keep on making the end of each episode such a nail-biter that you can't help but look forward to the next one. And Eren FTW!

I hope they sell at least one, for some benevolent soul to extract the translated scripts and insert them into the unmutilated 18+ Japanese version. Still wondering WHY anyone isn't doing this for Aselia. Maybe I will, once I fix my Japanese skills.

Thanks for the recommendations guys! @otamegane: My reality sucks and has been disappointing so far. It's probably just a late-blooming chu-2 or I'm turning hikikomori (albeit unlikely).

Don't want to make a new thread, so I'm just going to ask for a recommendation here. Looking for an anime with cool infodumping (mystery, magic or shounen, etc). Must NOT have a VN adaptation (or if it does, it must be very unlikely to be translated). Should be a full season (24+ EPs) OR has at least 2 half-seasons (12+12). Don't mind the art much, I just want good writing. Maybe something with politics or sci-fi.
