VNs with choices are very common. And there are many VNs in total. It'd be easier to give you a recommendation if you also mentioned a genre or something like that. You want something with an epic plot? Something with a focus on romance? Something with plenty of character routes? Mystery? Horror? Action? You say you're a noob, but does that mean you're completely new or have you read something already? What have you read if so?

Haven't tried it, but that guy originally put the translated chapters as videos on YouTube.
