That's the biggest increase I've seen in some time.

Yeah, that's true, I know that some of these people are working and might even have busy schedule so I really appreciate the translate but I was just hoping it will come sooner rather than latter. At this point I guess I'm just satisfied if the person or people working on it will not drop the translation, and hopefully it will be done by next summer.

Aiyoku No Eustia  damn, I wasn't here for like 4 years, and now got good news.
    What team gonna translate it?

Let's just hope they finish it as this VN, it's going suuuuuper slow, fingers crossed. Played it like 8  years ago give or take, i was sure it's gonna be dropped and it was but somebody picked it up and now we are here, looking every single week as it moves ever so slowly or not at all.

  3. so here i was absent for almost a year thanks to the fact that i went to england and worked my legs off but after finally making back to mother land i see that someone actually took it to himself to pick up Aiyoku No Eustia again. So my question is this, is there any chance in hell that this time the translation will be finished and maybe done by this christmas ?

  4. Not to mention they're going to kickstart it on top of this, they sure like milking the players. :\

and here i was, thinking about the same thing and yet they stole my idea, preposterous. On a more serious note, while i do think that this is a good thing for the VN genre, because this could help "advertise" this feeble industry and also because Sharin no Kuni is a really good one, i still agree with "leonzell" about translating some new ones instead of copy paste and maybe re-check the grammar, which shouldn't be that hard if you're a native english speaker.

  5. For those interested, there is currently an Angel Beats translation ongoing! A sample of the work (the opening I believe) can be found
, and the current translation spreadsheet is here which puts the progress at ~36% achieved over a 3-4 month period.

the anime was pretty good, problem was that it was rushed in my opinion and so the ending wasn't as awesome.

  6. Apparently the translator of the AoKanata project mistakenly deleted the project and didn't have any backups so now he has to start from scratch.

you must be kidding, even if he somehow deleted the files, it's always recoverable if you don't overwrite them, and even if you do in some cases the files are still recoverable, so no i'm not buying this. I don't even want to mention that FBI will probably recover the shit out of your HD even if you overwrite the files several times. But even for free, lots of programs will do the same trick only not at that length. He should have just said that it was a Hard Disk failure, and because it cost quite a bit to recover data from a non functional HD i would have believed it. This i do not.

  7. The term "release to manufacturing", also known as "going gold", is a term used when a software product is ready to be delivered or provided to the customer. This build may be ...........................................

wow, now that was long, i hope you copy pasted it cuz otherwise your like on open lexicon and in that case i don't know if i should be worried or amazed. But anyway thanks for the info ;)

    World End Economica 3 - 36.00% translated

    What is taking so long!?

Good question, though i'm not a fan after seeing these three tags: Linear Plot, Single Ending and Kinetic Novel. So i decided to press the delete button. I guess i will give it a try if the whole thing is translated but not sooner.

p.s. It would be awesome with an optional stockmarket mini game.

  9. I wish someone will start Eushully VNs translating.

yeah, that would be a bliss, but chances are you're gonna read and speak japanese before anyone will start to translate another one. I love the srpg element in the eushully titles, its really a shame that no one is trying to get a grip on a license from them, but then again you can't really force someone to give you something they don't want.

  10. Not sure if I'm allowed to post links here, but since there are otome games on this list, I figured I might as well let you all know about an otome localization kickstarter. It's not going very well at the moment (due to the company not knowing what they're doing), but here it is. Hopefully I didn't break any rules.

never sponsored a VN but isn't 150.000 $ just too much for localizing a visual novel ? well either way, hope they succeed in their endeavour.

  11. Man this NekoPara was just a sad excuse to fap for Catgirls... The story of NekoPara Vol 1 was really good, this one not that great... I'm afraid the next will be even worse.

Well if the second is worst than the first than i'm gonna pass this one big time, i actually liked this VN untill the sex scenes, that was a total clusterfuck or more like what happened after. It was actually a refreshing VN from all the heavy ones, it was funny there wasn't too much extra i simply liked it, i hate those VN's where it takes forever for anything to happen, anyway i didn't have a problem necessarily with the sex scenes more like with the way the story continued because of the sex scenes. I don't remember exactly anymore cuz i played it from day one and i try to be as vague as possible cuz this is not the nekopara blog but it just didn't clicked with me anymore, i dropped it right after, never finished it, though i might give another try after all the volumes are released.
