Well, the reason why I'm asking that question is because pretty much every game with high sexual content or almost near high is frequently being associated with nukige by readers. "Tick Tack has a dozen h-scenes it almost feels like a nukige" is the best example for dumb statement. Its kind of a misconception. While it is true that most nukige has a lot of h-scenes, that is not the primary requirement. If you think Koihime Musou is the latter, i.e. subplot event is an excuse for h-scenes, then I think it is fine to consider the events as nukige, though it is stretching it a bit. Nukige is best described as "porn without plot". Even if it has a story, both main plot and subplot is made solely for the purpose of showing h-scenes everywhere, heroines is created only to be fucked silly and doesn't develop beyond that (people can't even remember a nukige heroine name most of the times, can they?), and scenario is written only for sex purpose. That's a nukige imo. Sometimes, even if you might find a resemblances of an actual plot in a nukige, it is very very minor.

How so? Because it has a dozen h-scenes, or because the subplot event is only an excuse for h-scenes?

I wonder if he is good enough to enter my "favorite protagonist" list... only Morita Kenichi, Sasaki Fuminori, Naoe Yamato, and Hakuoro managed to do it so far. The only way to find out is to read it, but I'm still waiting for Cartagra to be my first InnoGrey VN, so... go go MG!!

The heavy amount of slice of life in the first chapter is there to flesh out all main characters, specifically Azai Kyousuke and Usami Haru, and makes them multi-dimensional. It works perfectly well and is extremely hilarious sometimes. The other side heroines is decent, and works well as an instrument for the main plot. However, individually, they don't really possess such depth beyond what is necessary to move the main storyline. As such, the characters routes itself degraded into a more common family drama plotlines. They are all decent on their own, but still pales in comparison with the main route. Sexualisation is the least thing you could complaint in a VN like this, and is somewhat irrelevant. Regarding what's in your spoiler, "sustenance" could mean a lot of things. It doesn't necessarily imply about Kyousuke's development. All the side routes is a [spoiler=G-senjou][ what-if route and spin-off where Kyosuke is Maou. Either that, or he really has that mental illness where he viewed himself as Maou. Make sense now? I don't know what else could be added into the highly enjoyable mess that is G-senjou, but I know I could list a couple of things that should be removed. First thing will be all the unnecessary side routes.
