I just hated it, not sure there's any logic to it. I think that's the only game I've ever played that I literally FORCED myself to finish. I hated everything about it. The writing, the characters, the writing, the characters...I mean really....I hated all the heroines except Rider...oh wait. I found the story bland and the art uninspiring. I could write a 5 paragraph essay on all the things I hated about Fate/Stay Night, but I'll refrain.

And yet somehow Tsukihime is still one of my favorites of all time...
