For whoever is interested, partial patch for Muv Luv Altered Fable just got released. This patch covers the airsoft arc, which is the game's first arc. Get it here: Partial Patch.

You'll need to also grab AralTrans to get the translation to work: AralTrans (click the big red link)

Check the readme for instructions on how to get the translation running.

It's not a translation patch if that's what you were wondering. It's a regular patch probably used to fix/improve/add things to the game.

There is Moogy, Makoto, and a few others. They have a couple of translators working on VNs, but actually translating the VNs isn't the main problem.

Just finished 999...... as tsundere said, DAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN! Has the same writer as Ever17, so if you enjoyed Ever17, I recommend that you check this game out. If you love mystery type stories and themes of being "trapped", I would also highly recommend you check out 999. Some of the puzzles are challenging, but that's what made it awesome half the time. Get yourself ready for some awesome twists.

I've been eying Little Busters for a while now and was strongly considering starting it, but now it seems like the ME/EX/whatever version(s) are getting pretty close to done. For those who've played it, should I just wait for the shinier version or would it be beneficial to play the original while waiting?

I and some of the regulars (on the shoutbox) are waiting for the full ME/EX translation, but don't get confused.. it isn't close to being finished. You still might have to wait around a year or so.

It's being translated right now, but it'll most likely be released sometime in spring of 2013.

G-Senjou is good. The side routes are meh, but the true route(which should be saved for last, it comes last anyways) is really good. Enjoy the experience.

[spoiler=ep8]As killer said, the music in this episode was fantastic. Some nice romantic progression in this episode. Pillow-senpai starting the napping club makes sense now lol... she went to kindergarten where they nap, then she took that habit over to home-schooling, and now she's back in high school where she started the napping club XD Also, her being home-schooled sort of shows why she doesn't mind the chuunibyou-ness from other people... she just sees that as people having their fun

Do you have Daemon tools installed? First off, download and install that so you can properly mount and install visual novels. With Daemon tools, mount CD1.bin and install the game. After installing the game, unmount CD1.bin and mount CD2.bin. Reopen the game by going to the directory where you installed it and you should be able to properly run the game. For Lets MeowMeow, try following this tutorial.

I just finished Swan Song. Really good VN, especially if you're interested in a post apocalyptic setting. When I was playing through it, it sort of reminded me of The Road. I think the characterization is a huge part of this VN and you definitely see it as you progress through it. I thought the "normal" or true ending should of been a bit more conclusive, but I didn't think it was bad by any means. Definitely check it out if you're interested in that type of setting, but you kind of have to know what you're going to expect.

Regarding one of the characters [spoiler=SwanSong] Taku's development was pretty weird. I'm not so sure what to think of it right now. It started off completely fine, even after he killed his first person, but the transition from him going to killing one person to raping corpses and being a necrophiliac happened a bit too quickly... but it didn't really bother me too much. This was still a solid example of character changes that happen throughout the VN.

Too lazy for an in-depth review right now (may do one in the review section in the near future), but a very solid VN that is worth checking out. Gave it a 8/10.
