Why? There are VNs with awful translations that Ivan has already uploaded, this one shouldn't be an exception. He'll probably upload this VN as well when he gets some free time and if we remind (read: bother xD) him enough for it xD ...

Hmmm, that's another problem. I am thinking it might be related to the problem with the game itself, I am not sure what happened since you didn't get a reading for the error that popped out at first. The only way to fix the problem you are having now is to delete all savegames of Koichoco in order to be able to launch the game again. Your savegames got corrupted due to sudden popup that crashed the application. Check the game's directory and see if the savegames are there, if not, then they are in "My Documents" folder or the Appdata hidden folder (to access it, you would need to set your explorer to see hidden folders) or just open that folder through "Run" prompt on the start menu by typing in %appdata% ... And then looking for the savegame there. Sadly, there's no way to restore your old playthrough but since you finished one route and you know how you got to it, then just use skip mode and make it go through the end. If the error popup happens again, make a note of it, screeshot and so on, so we can have at least a clue at what's happening.

It's completely translated if you downloaded the game from ErogeDownload ... though ... I don't know which version Ivan applied to it ... The translation was updated later on and the last patch for it was v1.1 ... you can find the patch here https://basicvntls.wordpress.com/2016/07/02/koi-to-senkyo-to-chocolate-english-patch-1-1/ ... I am not sure if Ivan's version is the same so you need to check that. Try downloading the v1.1 patch and installing it ... Actually, before doing that, copy the entire Koichoco folder as a backup in case something gets screwed up ... I can't check it myself because I don't have the game currently

Windows 10 can be problematic for VNs, try setting up the compatibility mode to be for Windows 7 (right-click on the game's executable and select properties and there is an option to set compatibility mode for different OSs) ... What I asked you to do is to try renaming the executable. Download "start.exe" again, move it to where your Koichoco folder is, delete or move out all other executables like for example "Koichoco.exe" ... and then just rename "start.exe" that you moved to Koichoco folder into "Koichoco" (no need to add .exe at the end) and then set up a compatibility on it to be always run in Windows 7 and then try launching the game again through that renamed "Koichoco" ... Is my explanation enough or I will need to post screenshots? xDD

Hmmm ... try moving out the old Koichoco.exe file and renaming "start.exe" to the name of the executable you had before "Koichoco" ... Basically, you are replacing the old .exe with a new one, see if that works. Are you getting the same message about Koichoco DVD not found? Edit: Wait, did you already have one "start.exe" in the game's directory? Make sure you only have one .exe in the game's directory, move out all of them except "start.exe" and rename "start.exe" to the original executable's name, report back if you managed to make it work that way. And report back what OS are you using, Windows 7, 8, 10?

Yeah, I checked it later again, they did say 18+ free patch is for granted Though there is just one potential pitfall for this game. I want it to be a longer one xD If feasible, to be of Monster Girl Quest lenght, if anyhow possible We don't have enough Monster Girl eroges

From what I saw of the project, I think I did see it confirmed to be going on to Steam ... By the way, why would you actually want it on Steam? Steam eroges are usually censored and no H-scenes (there are some exceptions though) ...

Wait, so VNDB isn't allowing you to search by tags? O_O First time I hear of such a problem, what do you get when you try to search with tags set (for example, what happens when you open the link I sent earlier?) ... I see your avatar, you managed to set it, it's some black and white art of possibly two males trying to kiss each other (though it could be a female and a male, I dunno, it's from some doujin I guess? xD)

SubaHibi indeed has a strange release format if I may say so, for those who haven't heard yet, basically, FrontWing is asking for 30$ for 10% of the game (Chapter 1 of SubaHibi) and then giving out a free 18+ patch for the whole game. Also, if I understood correctly, one of the H-scenes was censored due to its contents, it looks like 18+ patch won't restore that scene or that is at least what I understood. Also, another thing worth mentionining is that the editor of the SubaHibi's script didn't completely finish editing it and has something to say about this FrontWing's release: ... Take it with a grain of salt and not at face value, I am still hoping that the TL will be good because SubaHibi definitively deserves it, considering how soon they are planning to release it - maybe all my hopes will be in vain but let's wait and see, SCA-JI's writing deserves a better release, I am hoping Front Wing didn't become greedy. Dracu Riot situation isn't exactly a surprise, it was already rumoured to be the case, and I don't particularly care about it. Yes, there's a leaked patch and many have already read that version, but if Sekai wants to localize it, then let them do it, I don't mind it, Yuzusoft deserves a presence in the western market anyways. At least we are getting bunch of these in 18+ editions so everything's fine, we are getting Tenshin Ranman, Senren Banka, Dracu Riot, all 18+, so it's not like Sekai will butcher them. Also, Nanairo is good and it also confirmed 18+, all is fine in my book. Majikoi is perhaps not much of a surprise announcement considering Peter already desired it from the beginning, even going so far as to look for the fan-translators themselves: https://vndb.org/t6259 Though if I may say something, I am hoping he is intending to improve the fan-translation or make the new TL from scratch. Because anything else would be just extremely lazy and considering how JAST takes its time to release stuff, I am hoping that these 10 years or so until Majikoi gets localized will be used to at least improved compared to the fan-TLed version. That's my current opinion on all matters relating to AX announcements

Yeah, Cyberlink PowerDVD could help with playing these VNs, maybe some other video playback software as well, one needs to test every one and see how it goes until he finds the perfect solution. -
