TakaJun is impossible to track now, as far as I know, he disappeared off the map or something like that, went on with his life, never to return to fan-translating. Original Majikoi translation was partially done from Yandere (TakaJun) and then finished by Maji Translations ... Actually, JAST wanting to localize Majikoi didn't just pop out of nowhere, Peter went to VNDB one day and talked about his potential plans for localizing it, here is the link: https://vndb.org/t6259 That was 2 years ago ... And I don't think he found TakaJun yet so I am hoping for total retranslation or way better improvement on the existing script.

Oh, yeah, Nanairo is really good from what I have heard, dunno about Senren Banka though But Yuzusoft should at least be decent if anything else ... Yes, it certainly does Speaking of it, I wonder will JAST use the already available fan-TL as a basis for Majikoi ... I hope they intend to make it professional level, I don't know the quality of the fan-TL but if they are making a professional TL, I am hoping it will be way better than the fan-TLed version.

Yeah, that should be a problem indeed, I don't remember my Rance 2 giving such names in Savegame directory when I played it, though I could be wrong, I am not sure. Are you sure you are in Japanese locale? Btw, why is your Rance 2 folder so nested? Rance 2/Rance 2/Rance 2/Rance 2 and then finally the game itself XD Try moving it to your C:\Rance 2 or D:\Rance 2

Okay, we are getting closer to fixing it fully ... I am using Windows 7 so I can't help you with Win 10 problems, I know many people have trouble running VNs on Win10, especially older ones and Rance 2 remake is old by today's standards. Though I believe that problem with characters is actually fixable, but I dunno how to help you with that since I can't test it on my machine as I am not on Win 10 ... Japanese fonts and locale should be the only fix needed but since it's Win10 we are talking about, I am not exactly sure how to fix it. Did you rename the files to be exactly like in my screenshot? With 7-zip you should have gotten only the wrongly named ones with "__" character in the names. If all else fails, I am willing to share another link for Rance 2 remake but I dunno if it would help your cause, Win 10 is a bitch for running visual novels.

If I am not mistaken, this Rance is the one I also had trouble loading off the Ivan's version on here ... Jax, check the directory where you extracted the files of Rance and see if there is a strangely named file in there ... something with ? character perhaps or _ this character ... Apparently, it got packed badly by Ivan and I had to grab the game elsewhere because of those badly named files (during packing there was that shit with unicode encoding and so on) ... The possible fix would be to rename that file that was badly named after extraction. I can look it up, but first check if I am right Jax. Edit 2: Sorry, it seems I was right, this was indeed the Rance game I also had trouble with ... Yeah, you can't even extract it due to those "_" characters in the name ... try using 7-zip instead, that one should leave the files where you extracted them even if there's an error message.

Having seen some snippets of the translation of these TalesTune VNs I can safely say it doesn't look that good at all so I'd advise skipping it altogether like TheFox said.

I am not active that much on other forums at the moment, try spreading info on Fuwanovel, your info has bigger % of spreading from there than here, I don't know many people who visit EG forum at all

I don't know about Hatsuyuki Sakura but Natsuyume Nagisa is supposedly pretty good based on what Red told me about it I grabbed it the other day but I can't read it until my Japanese becomes good enough xD ... Try moving it to a root folder of the partition (like C:\One Kagayuku Kisetsu\ or D:\One Kaguyuku Kisetsu\) and run it in admin mode with full privileges

Missing Libra in the "Completed Projects This Week", also, I'd advise people not to expect a good translation from bunch of these new VNs that popped out. George Henry Shaft translated a bunch of VNs recently but judging by what I saw from some of the people that tested out one of these, it seems like it's a far worse of a translation than what Libra pulled off ... The only shining beacon this week would probably be MGQ Paradox Part 1 by Dargoth xD

I am active on EG's forum for some time so most of the regulars already know me around here but nevermind, might as well introduce myself now, better late then never I guess. I don't have a habit of creating accounts on the forums around the net so often so I might as well say something about myself xD ... Hello everyone!! Now, how should I introduce myself, me thinks ... I guess I should say that I am yet another Japanese Anime/Visual Novel/Manga fan (it seems the world can never get enough of those) ... I come from a little small Eastern European country located on the Balkan peninsula called Serbia (yeah, need to put it like this because we are so insignificant nobody from Asia or both Americas would ever know this god-forsaken hole of a place on Earth's globe xD) ... The first time I saw ErogeDownload was back in 2010 I think and I learned of ErogeGames existence only later on (dunno why I never saw ErogeGames forum at that time xD) ... I can only congratulate Ivan for keeping this place up for so long and not letting a single gleam of it fade since day one Definitively one of a longer VN piracy sites that managed to survive all the tides of the digital sea. I have been following Visual Novels as a medium since at least 2010 (yes, the year when I discovered ErogeDownload as well xD) when I played my first VN which was Bible Black and that's what initially got me interested in the medium ... I am also a casual anime fan and I also read manga from time to time but I think that visual novels are my favourite way of entertainment from Japan right now, I find them quite addictive and I always feel the need to finish them off once I start them, even nukige stuff, I just like the concept of them and everything, I don't consider them real games but as "novels" though with an interesting way of presentation Don't get me wrong, I like anime too, but it seems to me that I like visual novels more because they somehow always feel like they have more depth to them ... It's quite modest so far (almost 40 VNs at the point of time I am writing this), I agree, for somebody who knows about VNs for quite some time, I didn't get the time to read a lot of them and time between 2011 and 2015 was spent on other hobbies mostly until I returned to this one ... I switch from anime to VNs, from VNs to manga and from manga to anime so I never really get to have a huge backlog of any of these mediums xD ... And to top it all, I am quite slow, especially at reading VNs (that have a decent plot) and I tend to spend some time on them ... and some of these VNs are so good that I read them at least twice or more times (Bible Black several times, Swan Song twice, planning to read Dies irae at least once more xD) ... The only VNs I went through three times was Bible Black because it was a rather interesting hentai nukige title that I liked back in the day and even now I like it very much ... As for other VNs, I still didn't play enough of them but I can safely say that my current favourite VN is "Dies irae" (spent more than God knows how many hours on this one, a rather very long VN which I started in 2017 and I consider it the best VN that I have read so far) ... I know there are many other VNs that are probably going to be even better than these I mentioned, I know about all mainstream VNs that are considered a must-read like Muv-Luv, Kara no Shoujo, Fate/Stay Night, Tsukihime, Ever17 and so on, I know, I have been following VNs for quite some time now and I intend to go through all translated VNs xD ... I know it's going to take a while but I enjoy the medium quite a lot and I even want to "learn" Japanese (however much I can grasp of it, it's a rather unique language in its nature), I started only recently, Genki and some other beginner friendly courses, but its probably going to take me at least 2 to 3 years before I get even the basics and kanji and what-not xD ... I just hope that I will be able to read basic nukige stuff at least someday xD ... As for the VN I am currently reading, it's "Libra of the Vampire Princess", a good VN with not-so-good translation but overall a fun VN nonetheless, not my favourite genre but I find it pretty fun ... Also, your AV might scream out for viruses, I usually test cracks on virtual machine or my spare PC though but since you are looking for NoDVD cracks you should be aware of such problems already. He was looking specifically for NoDVD cracks, he wants to play it without mounting the DVD (sometimes VN .iso's take too much space and people want to delete them and play using cracks instead)

Ivan only needs the files, don't worry about cracking, it's pretty straight-forward ... Also, some people just use SmartSteam to emulate Steam so it's not a big deal. In the meantime, you could try playing some other otome VNs if you are impatient, there's Night Shade, I heard it's an okay otome, and I think it's by the same devs that made The Charming Empire
