  1. Did you check Nyaa? I think elmo may have uploaded it.
  2. Tenshin Ranman - QA and engine work next, in "icebox" What happened here? xD
  3. Related video: [video=youtube;Tu2qo-hwI-o]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tu2qo-hwI-o
  4. Yuzusoft doesn't own Clover Day's. It's an ALcot title. Also, you think he would admit which company is blueballing him? I still think it's Sekai. JAST for sure isn't and he wouldn't go to MangaGamer for it (they pay too shitty and Astro wouldn't sell it cheaply). Whoever it is has money to pay for it.
  5. He got blueballed by Sekai obviously. Ittaku didn't deserve this mess, but that's what he gets for sticking with someone who wants to sell his work officially.
  6. It's Moenovel. What did you expect? They were always retarded.
  7. Yeah, that looks legit. I copied mine from Muv-Luv, but this is the same thing.
  8. It doesn't work without the registries so you'll have to wait either way.
  9. NekoNyan got it most likely. But let's wait and see. I am betting on them.
  10. Yeah, it's an MTLed butchered all-ages release. Not worth anyone's time.
  11. It's a machine translation, you can't read it.
  12. SakuUta never. SubaHibi bombed with sales. Consequences of everyone and their mothers pirating it.
  13. If you are serious about learning JP, then yeah, you'll have to invest time into it. Sadly, I only occasionally invest time into it xD I plan to learn it more like on a long run, than all at once. And yeah, the necessary speed to learn it varies from person to person. As well as methods of learning of course. Bible Black is one of the kind! Glad you're liking it And yeah, I know that the school setting might be a kind of setting that's not that much interesting (Japanese VNs overuse school-based settings). I didn't play Rance, but I don't think that old art is necessarily a bad thing. U
  14. Hiragana and Katakana can be learned in a week (if you aren't gonna bother learning how to write them... which I recommend since it's not important for your Japanese reading studies). As for kanji, there are multiple ways to go about them. You can try out Learn Kanji Using Radicals KANJIDAMAGE in combination with Anki or Memrise like I am doing. There are also the Heisig series, but I don't like them. Just find a good book that can teach you radicals and then find some good mnemonics to remember them by. It'll take some time to learn enough of them, but totally worth it (and no, it's not impos
  15. Yeah, Fakku doesn't license and translate. They are only a storefront. Also, I seriously doubt MG would pick it up either. It's not something they could sell that well. And the least likely candidate to pick it up would be Sekai (i.e. don't hope for it). "Learn Japanese to Survive" series are fun little games, but not really good enough to help you learn the language. You need to grab some beginner Japanese books like the Genki series or Tae Kim's Guide to Japanese on the side to make it worth. Also, of course, this is not a replacement for English TLed VNs. Even I will prefer to read a VN
  16. X-Change 2 is a bit better story-wise, that's true. Still, it's a mediocre dating sim. Its core charm is still black comedy and that's what that VN is good for. While I didn't like the VN that much, I recognize it as perhaps one of the better black comedy VNs out there. Also, the sheer number of endings make the game worth going through multiple times. Still, many of these endings aren't that fun, and the good endings are actually the most boring ones.
  17. DId you try this walkthrough: X-Change 2 FAQ/Walkthrough for PC by SRanmaJ - GameFAQs ? From what I remember, X Change 2 has some strange triggers. I remember the said scene, but I forgot how I unlocked it. X Change games are notorious for tons of choices and it's near-impossible to get all CGs without using some kind of guide.
  18. Don't get me wrong. I understand you too. This is quite common in the western scene actually. 1. JP dev makes a VN and releases it in Japan 2. A localizer picks up the said VN and releases it in the west in English 3. The JP dev later on releases the better, updated version in Japan 4. The localizer doesn't give a fuck about updating their own western release We had a case of it just a couple of weeks ago. It's Subarashiki Hibi ~Furenzoku Sonzai~ and I am still sad about it. The updated version of SubaHibi adds voice acting for all important characters that were left unvoiced in Front
  19. I grabbed back in the day both X Change R and X Change 2 R from a torrent. It could still be alive perhaps. Still, I don't consider the project for this VN worth it. Having played 1 and 2, and MTLing the parts of R that weren't in the original releases... I don't think it's something worth doing. Personally, I'd like to see more a translation for newer Crowd titles like Yin-Yang! X Change EX ~Boku no Sensei ga Konna ni Onna na Wake ga Nai~ or X-Change Alternative 2 ~Kimi no Hitomi ni Utsuru Kimi~.
  20. Those people make me chuckle too
  21. It always makes me chuckle when I see pirates complaining about delays xD
  22. Not sure about Amayui, but Himegari is 100% MTL. Ivan doesn't post machine translated stuff unless it was an official translation (like SakuraGame trash for example).
  23. Rumour has it that Nekonyan got Aokana license (one of the "two big titles" presumably). Another rumour says SakuraGame got it. What do I believe in? I think sprite might self-publish it and ask for some money on Kickstarter. So only God knows, but yeah, we may be getting an English Aokana. Only the quality of the translation is at stake.
