    It's called "stereotype". If you look hard enough there are tons of dumb protagonists across Japanese entertainment medium -- especially Otakudom. This includes but not limited to anime, manga, light novel and even visual novel. At least the translation quality is way better than "If you love me, say so," as there's no "calling a woman as a dude". The heroines in this one are interesting, and there's also some quizzes to solve, nothing too hard, just the easy ones.

    You can do that on Fuwanovel, but then again most fan translators don't take any request, they translate what they want to translate.

    Sorry but there's no fan translator here. One huge problem with this VN is the fact that it's one of the longest VN in existence, making it pretty difficult to translate. Most Fan TL projects that I know of have 50-50 chance of completing their projects, even if they translate shorter VNs. Not to mention, nowadays most of the fan translators have already been hired by official companies and the VN Fan TL scene is pretty much dead, with some rare exceptions. The chances of someone pick this up in the future is not zero, but considering the game length alone, I'd say it's "near" zero.

    Like Napo said, Kara no Shoujo series is a masterpiece, but before playing KnS play Cartagra first since those two are related, it'll help you understand the story in the KnS better. There's also: Corpse Party series - pretty famous for its atmospheric horror vibe. Rare example of how a simple JRPG made with RPG maker engine got famous and made into a full series. Divi-Dead - decent, but old and kinda annoying to run to. Dustmania - since you can stomach the likes of Euphoria and such, you might want to check this one, though it's more of a guro game than horror. Knifepoint Horror - pretty good, too bad the developer gave up on developing this further, also free. Lynne - to be honest, I haven't read this one, but I saw people praising it Night of the Forget-Me-Nots - classic one, short and free. Phenomeno - released as a Freeware to promote the main novel. Rinjin - decent one. Play/read these with your lights out and headphone on for maximum amount of suspense.

    Most nukiges are of low quality though; with nearly non-existent plot and/or way too ridiculous plot, not to mention H scenes in most VNs are kinda bad anyway. The only "high quality" nukige I could think of is Rondo Duo; and this is coming from a guy who hates futanari.

    You mean something like full 3D HRPGs? Sadly, most HRPGs available right now were made with RPG Maker engine, which has similiar gameplay no matter who the developer is.

    Pick a game, download all the parts, put them all in the same folder, click on the first part, extract, and then click on the exe file. Some of the games here requires you to first change your laptop's locale to Japanese. Just Google "how to change my locale to Japanese". There are plenty of tutorials all around the net.

    The TL got leaked years ago. If you want to play it, just play the leaked version as no one knows when Sekai will release their not-so-good "official" version anyway.
