Still hoping somebody has an answer to this question.

The near complete lack of grammar or punctuation is making it difficult to understand you, or even determine if you are a native English speaker or speak some other language. Honestly, you look like a bad spam bot. This is a fan translation project, not an official English port of the game. Did you set your computer's Unicode Regions Settings to Japanese? You usually need to do that for fan translations, as the core program is still a piece of Japanese software. Basic outline of how to change your computer's region settings in Windows 10. Other Windows versions SHOULD be similar. -Open "Control Panel" -In the upper right of the window should be a drop down menu called "View by:". Select either "Icon" option, not the "Category" option. -Select "Region" from the resulting display. -In the new window, at the top, should be two tabs, "Formats" and "Administrative". Select "Administrate". -Look for the section titled "Language for non-Unicode programs". It should have a button marked "Change system locale...". Click that button. -Note what language setting your computer is currently using so you can change back to this setting later when you are done. -Select "Japanese (Japan)" from the new menu. -You will be prompted to restart your computer at this point. When you are done playing the game, repeat the above process to put your computer back in the original language settings.

I'm not sure what trouble you're having with it. I downloaded all 7 parts of the .rar files under the free download tab. I used WinRar to extract the archive. Place the resulting folder somewhere convenient. Run the file "amanatu.exe". You should be good to go.

Not here. 98% English versions only here. Onegai Naisho ni Shite ne SS part 2 is only Japanese.

Can't speak for others, but I appreciate keeping my purchase consolidated through a single interface. If it wasn't available on steam, then I would likely have bought it through a different vendor, but since it's on steam and I can use the patch, no need to go creating, and therefore managing, ANOTHER account and password. I'm guessing "AX" in a common shorthand for some sort of convention, but I don't follow the social side of things all that much. What does "AX" stand for?

Vndb.org says a fan translation exists, and up at the top of this page, just to the right of the date when this page was published, there is an "Language: English" tag, so this SHOULD be the English version here.

PSA: Shiravune has a newer version the of patch file for this title than what Ivan used in this upload (Version 1.0.1 instead of 1.0.0).

I'm getting slightly conflicting information about the plot of the VN Saint Dorei Gakuen. Some sources I've found seem to indicate that this is your classic corrupt school with a perverted teacher who kidnaps unwilling female students. If that is the case, hard pass on this title for me. Other sources seem to suggest that female students enrolled in this school knowingly and willingly, expecting to be trained into slaves, whether eagerly or reluctantly is another question. If this is the case, this title is just far enough from the norm that I might actually take a second look at it. Does anybody know which is actually the truth of the matter?

FYI: Just for future reference, notice the "*" around the title Miagete Goran, Yozora no Hoshi o: Interstellar Focus in the list above. That's how you can tell which title the picture came from.

It should be Haru from the VN Karenai Sekai to Owaru Hana. FYI: For future reference, note that littleshogun, the person who posts and maintains these translation status lists, surrounded that title in the list with asterisks(*). That's how you can tell what VN the picture comes from. I just checked the list of characters on vndb.org against the picture to ID the character.

So we're waiting on the release date for the release date? 🙄

As I don't know what that is, I can't say one way or the other. Given that no one else has responded, I'm assuming the answer is no. If you haven't already, try checkout the Visual Novel Database (vndb.org). It is a publicly maintained wiki cataloguing most Visual Novels in existence. Try using the in-site search bar, and failing that try a google search to the effect of "vndb.org <KEY WORDS>". Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Quality assurance missed this one (presumably by the original Japanese production staff, as it graphic related, not language/translation related). So does anybody else notice the screw up in this picture? For those who can't figure it out, the error is detailed in the spoiler box below.

Who is to say it was sudden? Maybe it took them 34 years to translate it.

@littleshogun Between all your sources of information, have you heard if NekoNyan is still trying to get a steam release for Aoi Tori, or have they given up and abandoned the effort (or you just flat out don't know yourself)?

(Edited in 2 hours later) I should have probably mentioned this first as a likely culprit. If this does not work, try the full explanation below: The FIRST time you actually try to run the game, you need to have the disc image mounted to simulate having the actual disc in the optical drive to pass some sort of DRM check. AFTER the first time, that is no longer necessary. ------------------------------- As I don't read Japanese, the only help I can give you is to describe the actions I took. I used the link provided by littleshogun in his visual novel translation status updates: Link to the post The acutal download link in that post The .rar archive contains a folder at root level called "Giniro Haruka". Inside that folder is a folder titled "2. Main Game". The "2. Main Game" folder contains a .mdf/.mds disc image file pair. Those are the only files from the link provide by little shogun that I actually used. In fact, I forgot about the "Crack" folder also located along the .mdf/.mds files during my installation process and never touched it. So I'm not sure that it is actually needed. Also inside "Giniro Haruka" folder from the .rar archives was a folder called "1. DAEMON Tools Lite". I did NOT use that folder. In point of fact, during the .rar archive extraction process, my virus checker took exception to that folder. I already had DAEMON Tools Lite installed on my computer sourced from the actual DAEMON Tools website. I suggest you get it from the official sources anyways as it's free ware. As for the English patch file, I went to the vndb.org page for Gin'iro, Haruka and followed this link from Daybreak Translations to get the patch from its official source. At this point, I am assuming you are familiar with the concept of disc image files and how to use them with software such as DAEMON Tools Lite and you are also familiar with how to switch you computer to region settings to Japanese. As for installing the program, you need to change your computer system local to Japanese BEFORE attempting the actual install from the disc images. Unfortunately, the installer is entirely in Japanese (it IS a Japanese program) but it should be fairly straight forward to guess "OK" from "Cancel". The whole process follow the basic standard Windows software installation and doesn't do anything particularly weird. Make sure you note where it's installing the game so you can find it. On my computer, it defaulted to "C:\Program Files (x86)\toneworks\銀色、遥か". I will refer to the location as the "Game Folder" hence forth. The English patch folder downloads as a .zip archive (similar in concept to a .rar archive and most windows computers can open them natively in a standard file explorer window as if they were any other folder in my experience). In side that .zip file is a folder given the unimaginative name "Gin'iro Haruka Full ENG Patch". Copy everything EXCEPT for the "README.txt" file from that folder to the game folder. This will cause a large number of file overwrites as the "g00" and "mov" folders from the patch merge with the "g00" and "mov" folders from the game folder. Use the "Launcher.exe" file provided by the patch to start the game. SPECIAL NOTE: The FIRST time you launch the game, the disc image files still need to be mounted in DAEMON Tools Lite. After this, it is not longer necessary to mount the disc image files. Other than that, remember to have your computer region settings to Japanese before trying to run the game. I have not had any issues since then.

For a character that is a native English speaker and doesn't speak any Japanese at all, Bethly's father sure has a lot of Japanese audio dialogue. Sure, the written text on the screen would have been in Japanese for the benefit of the originally intended Japanese player audience, but I should be HEARING a lot more English than I am. Even the scenes where it's just father and daughter alone speaking to each other, I'm still hearing a lot of Japanese and a distinct lack of English.
