If you choose correctly during the map choices, you can clear 2 heroines by playthrough. For example in chap 8, you will be able to choose between Kaede and Berio in your first game, and between Rico and Nanashi in your second. Just reload from that choice (the date) and you get to skip the 7 first chapters, that means you'll only have the route specific scenes and almost no skip. By the way you can play the heroines you cleared so the battles aren't that repetitive...

Exactly, batch means the whole series in a pack, as opposed to single episode files.

Don't know about that... they have bonus because nobody wants to seed/leech them, better take some of the last anime that are still on the initial seeding phase.

Tip for seeding, find exactly the same version of an anime of bakabt on another site (like nyaa for ewample) then you can start seeding without hurting your ratio.

Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing, Ichazura by Real and not Itazura by interheart. The Itazura series looks like the same thing 10 years older...

The last ones I tested were Aidroid and Houkago custom time but it's always the same, you can customize a "doll" and have a very limited "ways" to play with it... I wouldn't go as far as saying it was a pain, but the after story in clannad was largely covered in the anime so it didn't feel as good as playing the other routes that weren't in the anime. The reason I played the vn (by the way it was my first vn) was before everything to have the ending with kyou and kotomi that I liked more than Nagisa in the anime. But of course that doesn't change the fact that after story was superior, but since I already knew the story from the anime the vn's after story was not so enjoyable... And Kappei route was a very good surprise too in the vn, since it wasn't

Be sure to install Jparser and MeCab if you can read hiragana, it will allow you to read "phonetically" the text. When you are able to read all the narration and protagonist sentences, you get to understand them like the voiced heroines... Top is Atlas and bottom is google, you will end up not reading them anymore... By the way it doesn't show on the pic but when you hover the mouse over the green blocks, you get English traduction of the kanji as a bonus.

Dcpc doubles the number of routes (from 7 to 13) , though every one of them isn't that good. I read it all with alpha patch and machine translation a while back... I think the last patch had the full miko route in eng, but I couldn't find it. Alpha patch This is the patch I found without the complete miko route, it has Kanae, Alice and half Tamaki. Other routes are not translated (Nanako, Izumiko and Kasumi).

I'm not sure but it looks like the archive is corrupted, have you tried redownloading the English patch?
