Well I had cccp and the videos didn't play, so i took the codec the guys on tlwiki were advising... To read 15 years old video, need a 15 years old codec seemed correct to me. I'm sure you know better than me, and maybe you know better than them..or not : Looks like K-lite is not recommended.. By the way it seems it's only a problem for win7 users.

Can you play the videos with window media player?

I had a problem with the videos not playing, resulting in black screens during the game. First to check if your computer can read the videos try playing them with windows media player. If the videos don't play, download and install this codec. During the install, select custom install and untick "Indio Video 5 Web Browser Plugin" at bottom of the list (very important step that took me hours to figure why the setup didn't complete). You can try again the videos in wmp, but it should be fine now...

I can't acces the translator's site anymore (for their walkthrough), anyone can confirm if it's just me or not?

Speaking about N64 party games, Pokemon stadium was hilarous. Ever played the first Star ocean ? It was translated several years ago (the snes version), and the epicness was on par with chronotrigger.

Just download the hcg and you will escape from a very painful experience : to have the epicness of MLA ruined by a pseudo fanservice fandisk that makes you read hours(not joking at least 10hours of common route) of shitty comedy for only 1 scene/heroine and very few romance(total 20minutes max). After MLA i wanted some pure love story with kasumi, but i was trolled.What i found was so dissapointing i can't believe it was made by the same creators. It's not without reasons that the translators decided not to do it.

Well, dragonball, naruto and bleach are, although being aimed at younger audiences, excellent shonen mangas, but the anime versions are filled with fillers, sometimes censored for younger audience, never-ending battles and have often poor graphic quality. So, yes, they are bad animes. When they first aired, i was following and enjoying naruto and bleach, but i was disappointed when, after 80 episodes they both went into filler seasons that sucked so much i got disgusted

Well the problem is that he didn't even watch after story, i was just pointing that to judge clannad you need to at least watch the part that makes it great. He's rating the thing on the wrong scale, it's a drama anime, can't judge this by moe/ecchi standard, different standard than yours, looking from your avatars/signature. This is one of the top ten anime ever made (After story i mean), and if you didn't see any interest in it, it is obviously because you missed it, not because there's none. I think we might understand quite easily this one since it's a fan disk of a game we played in English. We'll already know the names of characters, places, and the themes of the vn in general so it will be less difficult to get the pieces together. And i'm sure we already learned many words of japanese related to the stars/astronomy during the main game (when you read the heroine text in English and hear it in Japanese at the same time). Agreed, they should have made a route for Sayuri, it was such a waste of a good character not to make her a heroin....

The endings in the anime were nicely done (like every other things in that awesome anime), and they provide good answers to the quetions left by the game.
