Right now I'm playing Forest, I didn't convince me at first but now that I understand it better I can't stop playing it.

There is one option missing: Gameplay A little gameplay like Rance has or Eien no Aselia is always a good thing and makes the VNs mor enjoyable.

I would like to, but companies in order to make it more profitable will ignore some plot, and new one and ruin completely the story, just look at Majikoi, a fightting themed VN that got turned into a harem-like anime where the girls fight over the wimp guy. But I would still like a Muv-Luv Extra/Alternative anime or G-Senjou no Maou anime.

Akabei Soft2: Great mind-f*cking games like G-Senjou No Mao and Sharin No Kuni Alicesoft: Love their J-RPGesque games like Rance and Daibanchou. Innocent Grey: Murder theme, great gore description, nice atmosphere, loved the mystery, Kara no Shoujo is one of the best VN I ever played. Overdrive: Creators of Edelweiss and Kira☆Kira, love their light themed VNs, still waiting for Dangeki Stryker. Age: Love them just because they created the best VN series I ever played, Muv-Luv

Just curious of what most people prefer on a very basic level (with every VN basically fitting into one of these two categories...) Dark themed VN or Love Themed VN. For me, I'm a kind of an all-rounder, if I like the story, any theme is good for me.

To the date Fate/Stay night followed by Muv-Luv Alternative, the only tho VNs I REALLY enjoyed.
