Just show him "Guilty crown".Surprising it really work well for this task,because of its awesome music,visual,mecha,romance and fan-service(Inori really work well for this). It is the best kind of anime to show to a starter(without complicated story and boring talk). I bring most of my friends into anime world with just this one.

I have only bought "soul link"(my first VN) and "deus EX machina Demonbane" from shop.The rest are from here.(really thankful to this site) I had a hard time buying "soul link" because its cover read "soul link:A sexual RPG simulation game"(guess the seller doesn't know what a VN is) and I bought it out of curiosity.It is really embarrassing. After I read its interesting storyline,it becomes a trigger for my VN's love.

Yea,Encouraging the people to accept VN is really difficult. (T_T) I have tried but failed.I got a neutral reaction for that(because my friend still watch animes).His reason was simple,"it is a pain in the ass to read so many text.I would rather watch anime than play VN"~~the end.
