Yes.I also think the VN with sex scenes sell better and make more profits than all-age VN. It is their marketing strategy but it is also the reason for VN being unpopular.

The main problem of VN being unpopular lies in that 70% of the VN contains sex scenes.Therefore,VN gives an impression of being a perverted stuff and most people avoid it because of 18 + tag. Even for me,the all-ages VN i have played so far are clannad,little busters and ever-17 the out of infinity.(i have played 20 VN so far,only 3 of them being all age)

the worst VN i ever played is water closet:the forbidden chamber. Now,I can't even remember why i play this VN.It is plainly suck.The voice actor sucks,the CG sucks,the story sucks,everything is just fucking sucks.It is not like i hate scat and pee.It is just that everything is so weird that i can't take it . My favorite VN is muv-luv and muv-luv alternative.It is the best VN in term of character development IMO.The alternative is so touching that i shed tears of sadness.After finishing this VN,i feel myself a little more mature than before.(maybe i am just exaggerating).

Yes,Majikoi is a good VN.I like Wanko and Chris. But my favorite VN is muv-luv and muv-luv alternative(the top rated VN in VNDB) I got a feeling that you guys are forgetting muv-luv.

I think you need several requirements to enjoy VN First,u need to enjoy animes (I never heard a VN player who play VN but hate anime) Second,you need to have a interest in girls or boys(even though the story is the main focus of many good VN,we all love to see character development) Third,you need to like reading texts(this is really important,i think most people who like animes hate VN just because they are lazy to read so many texts) I think if a person meets the above requirements,he or she will enjoy VN.

Yes,it is totally true in my country. kids aorund 8-9 years know pokemon.digimon 12-14 yrs boys know naruto and bleach For 16+,they watch detective conan and after passing 18 yrs,the anime becomes a kid entertainment for them. It is a man-made rule for animes in my country.

most bad endings are easy to avoid(some are just so obvious and other can be easily reload since u die the instant u choose the wrong choice) The main problem lies in choice problems,they are just so tricky.(especially the one,which u have to go through a numbers of rooms in a specific order) Just save everything u see a choice and u will be fine
