You should just ditch Win8, from what I've heard it's a rather awful OS. Go back to Win7.

While it may seem that the only thing left to do is Saya, there are actually a lot of changes and additions to the common route that need to be translated. There are also other changes and rewrites to existing character routes, including h-scenes in EX version only.

I haven't watched any of KyoAni's hard-hitters (Clannad, Air, Kanon) yet, but one of the more sad anime I've seen was Chobits.

I think it's like LB EX, the original game + extra routes in it. It's not listed as a separate game or fandisc and it's on 2 DVDs(Chou Dengeki Stryker).

I haven't played it myself, but apparently you can Quick Save and Save the game normally. Don't use the quick save, use the one near text bar. If that's not the problem, then go to your Documents and delete the folder "みなとそふと", then start the game again and try saving.

Yep, they are kinda meh, but in case anyone is interested - you can find the game by searching for DS[daemon slave]04 on sukebei.nyaa.

Those game are not listed on vndb. They are really short and are either in flash or consist of 3d model images with some minor animation.
