A journey across infinite worlds.

The Time Tree. Countless branches extending through space, each a world of its own. In one such world, a boy holds within him the soul of an ancient god yearning to break free. He tries to live a normal life, but must constantly struggle against the destructive

urges threatening to overwhelm him.

Little does he know that his closest friends also carry the burdens of an age long forgotten. With this destiny comes power; Eternity Swords with incredible might and Guardian Spirits manifested from their very souls. The gods are reborn, friend turns on friend, and an ancient war erupts once more.

Thrown into a world not his own, Nozomu must fight to bring his friends home. He must also discover the true nature of the being within him before it consumes him utterly. Thus begins a journey that will shake the very foundation of the universe.

will i miss out much plotwise if i haven't played the first one?

You can skip the first one if you really don't want to play it, the only thing they have in common is the multiverse setting. Some of the characters from the previous games like Kaori and Tokimi make a brief appearance as side characters or get mentioned by someone.

Why the first game is all age while second game has 18+ content. Oh and second game has "yuri rape" tag

Jast localized the all-ages version of the first game instead of the original 18+ one, there's requests for them localizing the 18+ version too but I don't think they've confirmed if that's planned or not, all-ages release has some extra content far as I know but obviously no adult scenes.

For this game Jast is localizing both the 18+ version which they've now released and in Fall sometime they are planning to release the all-ages version which if I understood correctly once again has some additional content not in the original adult version of the game.

(Will be released via Steam.)

EDIT: Jast has a little article here on what the differences are.

Sort of, a character from Aselia does join your party. That being said, not playing Aselia just means you miss out on some of the references involving her skills and dialogue.

Anyone know how routes are determined in this game? Is it like the first where you get points for killing enemies with both MC and Heroine?

There are choices during the VN portion of the game and also specific units (they have a heart symbol) you fight with your selected heroine during the battle portions, but the biggest impact I've found so far is a specific event midway through the story. I reloaded the save and picked different options and it seemed to branch off and give me routes of characters I had never even grouped with before based on those choices. (2 sets of 3 choices over consecutive days). I am still doing my first playthrough though, so whether those heart units have a big impact later on I can't say.

I think it depend on how much affection point you have with the heroines.

You get affection points for the girls if:

You choose their option in ADV mode (+1)

They get the MVP while they're in Nozomu's party (+1)

They fight the Boss while in Nozomu's party (+1)

You choose a girl in the Izumo shrine sub-path (+2)

I just copied that info from a post in another forum. Still don't know if they're true.

(Spoiler alert)

Yuri rape is the first sex scene in the game actually lol.

More spoilers

Are you referring to the scene right at the end of chapter 2 (or maybe the very beginning of chapter 3)? I hardly consider that an H-Scene. If that is what the "Yuri Rape" tag is about, I think it's a bit over hyped.

For the record, I'm not very far past the point I just mentioned, so Amedaius'es observation could refer to something later in the game.
