Sengoku Rance

  • Language: English

The story takes place during the 4th Sengoku (warring states) era of Japan, an area of the Rance World which parodies medieval real-world Japan.

Sengoku Rance picks up where Rance 6 left off. Rance, after saving the nation of Zeth from destruction, ran away so he won't have to marry the princess. He and Sill ended up in Japan for a hotspring trip, upsetting the power balance of Japan, and sets the unification of its provinces in motion. Meanwhile, an ancient evil power stirs from its slumber...

Meet the alternate reality versions of Oda Nobunaga, Uesugi Kenshin, Takeda Shingen, Tokugawa Ieyasu, Mori Motonari, One Eyed Masamune, Hojo Soun, Sakamoto Ryouma, Yamamoto Isoroku, Saint Francis Xavier, and many more famous Japanese historical figures in the world of Rance!

This game should come with the disclaimer that you shouldn't play it for the first time if you have anything important coming up in the next week (or at least several days). It's like Skyrim was for so many people; it sucks you in and doesn't let you go for a while. That being said, if you haven't played this yet, then you truly are missing something amazing.

So true, I played the game for hours just to get Isoroku's route and Kenshin's route.

Well, after finishing the other routes like Ran's route and others.

Replaying the game was still a lot of fun.

Not a lot of point bonuses thought. Hahaha, those are hard to get.

Definitely a game anyone interested in Eroge should try.

Its also a turn based strategy game so the fun of playing through various things in the price of one.

Rance is awesome. How awesome? He's so awesome I don't mind the rape in his game and I hate rape. Yeah, he's that awesome. *Puts my cool shades on and walks away like a badass*

Though I still have two routes to finish. Also my stand on getting points... Don't worry about them. It's waaaaaaay to much work to get 'em for me. Which sucks cause I would love to have those extra points to mess around with.

I've accumulated 195 points and I'm proud of every last one. I've unlocked every CG and gotten every family bonus (including Takeda, but that one took some patience), and beaten every route. I've also beaten up to the two star difficulty and beaten Orochi (9999 f***ing hp); really the only thing left for me to do is to beat five star difficulty, but considering how hard two stars was, I doubt it's even possible hehe

It's not actually THAT hard, just that armies have lots, and I mean LOTS of HP, but if you lvl your character enough, you can finish it (I did after an awfully long time leveling up)

Yeah, that guy is pretty ridiculous for a pre-boss battle. If this is your first playthrough, just forget about points and let the game take four from you to make the battles easier. If this is at least your second playthrough and you actually care about points, you should probably be dungeon crawling for a while to level up your commanders; get a team of rance, kenshin, senhime, uruza, ai, and another backrow unit, and you should be able to push through. You'll be even better off if you've got Mouri and his three daughters- Mouri himself does exactly 200 damage per hit, which is probably more than your other units are doing. Hope this was helpful!

Help. Can someone help me? I'm having trouble capture the second sister of the Mouri family. All my 6 generals have defeated warrior hunts. I've defeated Mouri in an all-out battle. But i still can't capture her. Not to mention i've tried so many times too. Can someone upload their saved games? I really need it. Having about 150 points and all the family bonus would be nice. PLZ help me

AND THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER

Hey,are u kidding me ?

The tag in VNDB said "more than seven heroines"

I search in VNDB but since rance has prequels and sequel,I can't determine which are main heroines for sengoku and which are for other series(I search sengoku rance and rance quest and found that all heroines data are exactly the same)

That is why i am asking here.

    • Days Chasing Glory

In this world, the sun shines brightest on the privileged, leaving the rest to shiver in the shadows. Capitalism has stacked the deck, ensuring that the elites monopolize wealth, education, and the luxury of living without fear. Yet, amid this rigged game, one boy dares to defy the odds.

Fuwano Nagi knows this reality all too well. Born in the slums, he's destined for a life of hardship. But then, a rare opportunity lands in his hands:

      [One's Gift]

An invitation to Ougen Academy—a school that guarantees a place in the winner’s circle. Each year, one lucky student receives this offer, no matter their background. For a slum kid like Nagi, it’s his ticket out—a shot to rewrite his fate.

But there’s a catch. This school is like a predator's den, and the students are circling, ready to tear him apart.

At the top of the food chain? The student council, the elite of the elite:

-Isshiki Kaname: The charismatic student council president. She's the heir to a powerful family that secretly pulls the strings in Japan.
-Tateshina Eve: Aikido master and smooth operator. Cunning and resourceful, rumor has it she's a secret agent for the National Police Agency.
-Yato Kukuru: Tech prodigy with a bottomless bank account. She's got brains, ambition, and the funds to make it big.

With Touri, his surrogate sister from the slums, by his side, Nagi dives headfirst into this pit of vipers. Can he claw his way to the top and claim his own glory? Or will the privileged elite crush him before he even begins?
    • I became the mayor after my father passed away. As the unlikable ‘Magic Trash,’ I used high-level props and awakened the magic circle! Unexpectedly, a frightened girl in her tattered clothes—Liz had appeared... No way, no! Did my guardian beast just get blocked by a girl like that?

As a demon under my control, Liz always looked arrogant as she kept competing against me. There must be one who wins and one who loses, even if it is by doing naughty things. But sometimes... she would also smile gently and speak of her loneliness, just like... the harshness was her defense so that no one could enter her heart.

As the thorns enveloping her sprouted new shoots, the city became more and more prosperous, but strange things also emerged bit by bit. The [Withering Flower] curse was gnawing her soul and somehow also affected me!
