Never7 -the end of infinity-

  • Language: English

You play as Makoto, a student who never attends the lectures at the school. As a punishment, you have to attend an extra seminar on an island with other classmates. However, when you arrive on the island, strange things start happening. A girl is found dead on April 6th, with a small bell in her hand. Immediately after that, you found yourself in the bed and see the date - April 1st! Was the vision of the girl just a dream, or do you possess a power to predict events? This is what you will have to find out, as a series of strange deaths make your seminar much more suspenseful than you have thought.

I have an interest in this game because of ever-17 but i am not sure this game is worth is or not.

So how about this game compare to ever-17 ? Can anyone write a short review about story ?

Well, I haven't played this game yet, but I can tell you it's not exactly going to be like ever17. It's made by the same developer and probably has some of the same themes, but the plot is completely different. Heard it doesn't have as many epic twists like ever17 did, but you should still check it out if you like the mystery setting. Heard it was your typical slice of life/romance until the end.

It is natural that plot is different. But from its description-

I thought that this is not a typical slice of life and give a similar atmosphere as ever17 ,do I wrong ?

Again, i'm not exactly sure since I haven't played it. Just from what I heard, the individual routes that you do with each girl doesn't dive into mystery as much. Heard they are the typical romanceish slice of life until the end. There are also "cure" routes that probably explore the mystery/twists a bit more. This just just an assumption. Best thing you can do is just check it out yourself :p

I'm a little late but this might be helpful to someone else. I played this one shortly after Ever 17 out of curiosity and found that while it was good it was definitely not Ever 17.

As stated in the article that desi posted earlier, the slice of life aspect is alright but it wears on you after the first route or so. Each route has its own ups and downs but the Izumi Cure route is by far the best because, in true Ever 17 fashion, all the cards are laid on the table. There are also a few nods to Ever 17 as well in this game, maybe one about Remember 11 too but not quite sure, that will definitely please fans and are rather satisfying too read through. All in all though the plot felt like it was geared to a somewhat younger audience than Ever 17 as some points felt like they were rather winey and unnecessary.

Final verdict: if you like slice of life or mystery it is alright but don't get it if your expecting one or the other to blow you away. If you are a fan of Ever 17 though it would definitely be worth your investment as it explains more about topics hit on in that game. 7/10

Might be a long shot that anyone is checking here who can actually help me, but here goes anyway. xD

I have obtained 4 good and 4 bad endings (click for screenshot of that). I'm using the walkthrough provided from erogedownloads.com and I'm stuck. No matter what I do, I can't get into Izumis Route (or Izumi Cure as I understand it is?).

I follow the walkthrough, take Izumi choices wherever I can and it works smoothly until I get to day 4. After going to Princess Beach with Kurumi and ending up at Lunar Beach, having Izumi ask me if I could do something for her, I don't get to choose what to do, I always end up saying that I have to run an errand.

I seriously have no clue what else to try at this point, tried it at least 10 times, no matter what I do, I don't get that choice to show up. Help? xD

I personally have no clue since I haven't played the game yet, but I suggest going here Related discussions for Never7 -the end of infinity- and making a thread about what you just posted. The translator(s) still hang around on vndb and might respond to you.

Events you should have gotten: [spoiler=kinda late for spoiler boxes but oh well] - Izumi swimming pool at day 2....

- Izumi test of courage at day 3

- Kurumi at princess beach at day 4..... then you should have to get a choice about going back to the lodge when on errand...... never had problems with this (but didn't use a walkthrough)

Anyone got a different English patch for this game? The one provided apparently can't run on my system, and I redownloaded it just to make sure but still get the same error

Shit like this is why i will stay on Windows 7 until support runs out in 2020.

Tried compatibility mode or what's it called in Spyware 10?

There's a way to bypass that error but it doesn't work on everything. Regardless though, you can try this out. Open your command prompt with admin privileges. Once the command window appears, drag the installer icon into the window, hit Space and type /NCRC. Hit Enter and the installer should hopefully start.

Thank you Ray, that allows me to run the game now : D

For any people with the same problem: Seems like doing it once is enough, the next time you run it it from the normal shortcut/file should be fine.

Got this error though, but then again all that matter is the game running lol

    • "The human heart is but a vessel for pain."

That's what someone once whispered―a voice laced with loneliness, whispering directly into the soul. It's an indescribable sadness, a love just beginning to bloom. It becomes an invisible pain that pierces the heart. And that's what makes up life: a cyclical series of highs and lows.

Tachibana Sai was born without the ability to feel pain in his heart. He spends his days eliminating any seeds of malice that sneak up on his sister, the one person he treasures, without drawing attention to himself.

Sick of the never-ending monotony he lives through, he chances upon a meeting with Benio Matsuri, a young girl whose aloof demeanor resembles that of a beautifully crafted doll.

For the first time in his life, he encounters a heart-piercing sensation―that of falling in love.

On the edge between day and night, in a twilight world where the dead and living mingle, stands an apartment building called Maison sans Nom, which is home to a group of boys and girls.

A ruthless boy who knows no pain in his heart.
A lonely girl without any friends.
A friendly girl who struggles to make connections.
A prickly, ambitious girl who is keen to be of help.
A boy who loves his own cute self above anything else.
A mess of a woman who tries to solve everything through brute force.
And a boy with a tender heart who knows no pain in his body.

This ill-assorted group of residents, hands stained with blood from battling the supernatural Maledicts, shall encounter the hearts they never knew and begin nurturing their souls.

The human heart is but a vessel for pain.

To protect this pain akin to love... To gently break the world apart, piece by piece... Even if it means abandoning humanity. That's why the heart is but a vessel for pain.

For life blazes brilliantly, while the heart goes around in an endless cycle.
    • As a reserved and unassuming university student in snow-bitten Hokkaido, the personal tragedy which visited Honoka Asakawa would lead to her experimentation in a magical art thought long-lost — blood magic. Unexpectedly able to visit the sealed world of Meiji-era Sapporo, Honoka's quickly taken under the wing of the cheerful and bright Lady Yasue, a powerful mage who's remained in this gilded cage for a century.

As their feelings for each other develop, the true repercussions of Honoka's first steps into the secret world of magic and mages are only just starting to play out, eventually leading to catastrophic consequences.
    • In this game, you play as Fujita Hiroyuki, a high-school student who seems to have more interest in romance than in his studies. In his school there are several pretty girls, and his goal is to be nice to one of them, to make the right decisions when talking to her, and ultimately to win her heart.

    • In a future over one hundred years hence...

All the people in the world have awakened to unique abilities called 'Dunamis'. As these special powers become rooted in people's everyday lives, their value system changes, and those who lack powers are the ones who are treated as strange. With the passing of the ages, the environment has changed completely, while society has greatly regressed. The overall population of mankind has diminished as well, and most of the world is made up of wastelands and greenery dotted with the weathered ruins of the world before.

      The City of Raillore.

With brickwork buildings like those of the Middle Ages, developed over land graced with lush greenery and rivers. With the concept of nations gone from the world, Raillore exists as something of a self-sufficient commune. The Order of Security and Regulatory Knights - AKA the Regulatory Corps - serves as a government organization in charge of handling crime prevention and other tasks that require force of arms.

But things begin to change as odd incidents take place, one after another...

Those possessing abilities different from those of Dunamis begin to appear. The people fear this power and the phenomena it causes, and those capable of it are designated as ‘Errors’. The sudden appearance of these Errors is regarded as a disease, and the handling of Errors is placed under the jurisdiction of the Regulatory Corps. As people tremble in fear of the vicissitudes of the changing times, there are those who try to open a way to the future with their own strength...
