Oh my god I'm mad at Wairu Translations now. It's like turning in a school assignment 44% done and moving onto the next one, and half-assing that one too! FINISH MAJIKOI S DAMMIT. THEN PUT MORE EFFORT IN MAJIKOI A.

Disclaimer - I do realize it is a harder game to translate than most. However, I've seen what they ARE capable of, and this is simply a giant case of slacking.

Except they aren't obliged to turn in anything at all. It isn't like they promise to deliver a complete translation AFAIK. Just curse your luck that it was some troll like pun-kun picked it up instead of somebody more... reliable.

 

I do realize it is a harder game to translate than most.

It isn't, it was just long. A long VN doesn't make it hard, just that it takes a longer time to finish, and some translator didn't realize until it was too late that they don't have the tolerance to endure working on such a project.

 

and this is simply a giant case of slacking.

More like he has gotten bored with it.

Having a tiny piece of Fate - progress can't be to bad as well.

Don't really know what I'm supposed to think of that mangagamer title, but it seems intresting, so for now I'm looking forward to it...

I know it's frustrating, but I'm calm.

Little bit annoying that he retired cause he was embarressed to tell people he was translating porn games, and now plays TERA, where absolutely every female character kinda comes down to some kind of whore, but I'm calm.

He was even nearly done with the project, leaving just the highlight of the game most people were interested in (source: poll), but I'm calm.

 

 

I know it could be way worse.

At least he announced his retirement.

Imagine him leaving out of nowhere, slowly and painfully shattering the dreams of all the people who were looking forward to the project.

And now imagine him getting back to translation with a "Hi dudes, now I'm gonna do it for real" and then leaving the scene yet again, crushing that small ray of hope he had given them.

Luckily, such a cruel, vile being does not exsist in this peaceful, happy world

then again...you should reserve the complains for IROSEKAI and FHA rather than the incomplete TRINITY of MAJIKOI~

Koyuki route is in S not A, and is one of the last story focused routes in it. Pun-Kun said he would finish the story routes eventually. Takae route also, which is VERY short. Heard he got a job right after he started Koyuki, so that's why the progress is slow, but at least it's there.

 

Also S is like near 75% translated, considering whats left after Koyuki and Takae are multiple joke routes / short H-afters for the original games routes. Remember, Tsubame route was the longest of the game, so that should give an idea about everything else.

 

A isn't being translated by Wairu, SayakaTL has been doing it, he just gives Wairu updates. He's in school still from what I remember and was going on a short trip to Japan this year. Reasonable with exams + all, that Benkei would be slow. It's also the longest route in A-1 I believe. (Similar in size to Momoyo from the original) (AzumiTL was doing Azumi, but I don't think he's sent an update in a long time)

 

Only disappointing thing is more people haven't offered to pick up routes. :( Wairu always offered to help get people started.

 

Figured I'd let people know what I know from Pun-Kun's posts on /a/ and from what has been said on the blog. Bit of a wordy post :cool:

What do we make of this?

I really hope he choice to translate Seinarukana -The Spirit of Eternity Sword 2 since is have 129 total Vote more than Shoujo Mahou Gaku Little Witch Romanesque so only have votes total

 

He's talking about a full weekend of fandisking, which refers to either Littlewitch Fandisc or Seinarukana Special Fan Disc.

 

 

Sadly he's also talking about a group sex scene, and while the protagonist of Seinarukana seems to be more into romance and love story stuff, Littlewitch has this one dude.

And just try to guess what he is tagged with...This kinda ruins my weekend... I wanna see Seinarukana translated, goddammit!

Software Defender DRM Removed

 

We have removed the Software Defender DRM from all games that still used it. To patch your game, please download the new exe from the relevant link below. In addition, all download versions have been updated.

 

Nice, although I already had most of these but it's good to see the copy protection being removed from the Digital Download versions of these games. :)

(Seems they are using the unprotected exe files from the physical copies now which works just fine.)
