What I mean by disappointing was that though it's not bad, I just feel that the first chapter falls behind the intrigue and mystery of 07th's other works. Halfway through season 1 it feels like I'm reading a predictable shonen manga, but it's starting to pick up towards the end. Hoping for the best in the next seasons. When it comes to these kinds of things, projects secretly start up and shut down practically every day. Some secret individual saying they're translating it again without a proper announcement and without showing anything, and without discussing progress doesn't mean that a complete translation patch is actually going to happen. It's better to be pessimistic and expect the worse than to end up heavily disappointed later down the line. Anyways, let's talk about other random stuff. Someone just announced a translation project for Tsujidou-san no Junai Road! It appears to be a semi-open project ran by folks from the manga scanlation group masterscanz: https://bitbucket.org/carter-yagemann/tsujidou-san-no-junai-road And another thing, a mysterious new VN/dating sim showed up on Steam the other day, "Gaokao.Love.100days". It's chinese-made, not japanese, but that hardly matters. It's actually surprisingly competent. It has decent art, decent music, is apparently surprisingly lengthy, and possibly even has decent humor. I say possibly because I can't actually tell, what with how utterly terrible the translation is. I'm talking about bottom of the barrel dregs, here. I found it impossible to enjoy it due to the translation. Which is a shame, because it honestly does feel like it has potential. This flurry activity that we're in right now and will continue to be in for what I suspect will be the next few months is pretty much what I thought things would be like six months ago, by the way. But a lot of projects ended up delayed for various reasons. Even JAST has been getting in on the release/update frenzy! They're saying that they'll be selling Shiny Days and Raidy III at AX early next month, although they won't ship until a little while later. I suspect they'll postpone the download versions to coincide with the ship dates, meaning they won't be available to the wider public for a while. i want more yandere VN >.> Pray for Kurukuru Fanatic, then. Whitetragedy 23 Posted June 3, 2015 Share Posted June 3, 2015 (edited) Finished Season 2, quality definitely went up. I am quite enjoying the plot of Rose Gun Days. The problem I find with season 1 is that during the first half, they keep reusing(5+ times) the scenario where characters are in trouble, but are saved in the last moment, which made the story lack tension. Though I don't know if this was intentionally written like this or not. Of course towards the later half of season 1 and continuing into season 2 the tension is back and I feel that the quality of the story improved drastically.
