I remember some people reported similar problem - it was caused by ffdirectshow filter or something like that. changing codec settings fixed it, but don't ask me what exactly needs to be changed.

"I will destroy you." Midorijima. Situated to the south of Japan, this beautiful island was once a place where people lived in harmony with nature. The new DRM system is widely used for japanese visual novels and have been cracked to hell and back already. SSSS already uses it and crack has been downloaded over 3000 times already. The only reason cracking took almost a week was because noone with nescesary skills cared about that title - i assume Tick Tack gets enough attention that it will be faster.

Dysfunctional Systems is an episodic visual novel chronicling the life of Winter Harrison. Having long become comfortable with her utopian society, Winter is surprised to learn that there are other worlds in other planes of existence. Look at the message you're getting - that's exactly how it's looking without proper japanese locale - it displays garbage characters instead of japanese text. You do NOT have japanese locale set up. Keep in mind that this game doesn't work with applocale.

To counter the declining number of childbirths, government decides to activate a plan. All schools across the country will enter contests against each other. The losing school will be shut down and its students will enter the service of the winners. Thus re-igniting the spirits of the lost young generation and hopefully producing healthy couples capable of childbirth again. The protagonist realizes that this is his chance to realize his dreams and makes a grand plan. First he "acquires" the help of the goddess of fertility, allowing his children to grow up in weeks instead of years. Then he starts leading the fight against other schools and "collecting" girls to grant him superior children on the battles to come... Gameplay is divided into two modes: Global mode plays like an adventure game where you talk, date and have sex with your followers. There is a minigame to make babies and also the simulation part is here as well in which you configure your troops and select which school to attack next. Arcade mode is where you lead the contests and fighting against rival schools. Leading your hero, who doesn't have any special powers at the start and making yourself a team with the mothers and children, who actually grant bonuses to mothers and special powers to you. -

Sucks that paying customers get shafted again tho - there's bound to be whole new slew of compatibility issues. Given their track of "localizations" ( removing images from two h-scenes in nocturnal illusions, axing whole route in xchange, editing images of girl and adding her second bra in family project ) i can guess that fantranslated version will be superior.
