Anyone here play Minecraft?
Outpost Omega J replied to Outpost Omega J's topic in General Discussions & Debates
I don't recognize the acronym DotA and Minecraft isn't a free to play game. While I've got nothing against newbies (we all have to start somewhere) I don't recommend buying the game because of this conversation. As I said before, I'm not even sure how to set up a multiplayer game. I'm just putting out feelers to see if it's worth my while to try and figure out how. As far as being a newbie to mine craft, I do believe there is a free trial/demo version available to try if you want. Here is the game home page if you want to look into it more on your own: Official site | Minecraft -
Completely batty, off the wall subject that has nothing to do with VN's (which is why I'm posting in the social section of the forum). Does anybody here play minecraft? Does anybody have any interest in trying to set up a multiplayer world for the site's members? This is just a high concept, off the wall idea. I'm not even sure how to set up such a multiplayer game assuming I could get enough interest from the people here. I'm not looking to make a big production out of it and try to get on to some sort of top 100 minecraft servers list, just looking to make something for fun for those of u

I get all sorts of screen shimmers and flickering when I set the game to full screen. It's a good thing I don't suffer from seizures or I'm pretty sure I'd be curled into a fetal position on the floor foaming at the mouth. The game works fine in "normal" screen, for want of a better term, and I can use the standard Window's maximize window button in the title bar, so this issue isn't fatal, to the game, not me I mean. Any suggestions as how to fix that? The screen issue, not me on the floor.

I get the general idea that your saying you have two play the route twice, or at least reload an oldish save to trigger a second, different ending, but what do you mean to "dummy" the ending?

Bench mark! 15 votes! Half way there! -------------------- Side note, this was my 255th post, other wise known as FF in hexadecimal (no, that is not a reference to bra size, though given the content of this sight in general, I can see how someone might make the mistake). Being a slight computer science nerd, I just felt like celebrating that a little.

*Blinks blankly in confusion* The poll it self is a yes or no question. Presumably, you voted in accordance with your own opinion on the matter. The mechanics of the poll are set up to protect the privacy of those who vote so as to minimize ass-hole behavior of those who disagree with you. I know how I voted, and if you read some of my earlier posts, it should be obvious, but I don't have the means to actually see my own vote in the poll, let alone anyone else. My purpose was to start a debate, not a fight. Ivan, as the sight administrator, MIGHT have access to that information, but I do

Thanks for the information.

Does anybody know if this is another abuse the heroines to no good purpose game, or can you actually avoid the heroines getting raped and have it still be said you actually played the game?

Statistical anomaly that will never happen again: You know how at the top of the vndb.org homepage it has four screen shots of four different games? I opened the webpage in order to take a peak at their entry for this game, and this game was the first of the four screen shots.

Now this sounds like it could be a lot of fun. I'll have to give it a try. Thanks for the upload Ivan.

This is just a theory, I have no evidence to support it whatsoever, as I'm not familiar with either the technical aspects of the actual software or the translating profession. Looking at VN's in general, the only difference between the All Ages (or at least 17+) version and the 18+ is the inclusions a few extra scenes that, strictly speaking, are not necessary to the story (you don't have to show them in the act, just state that they did it). Given such, it would make sense for the translator's to focus on those scenes last. They can produce a working, marketable product sooner, reducing the r

Ahhhh... That's no fun. You really need to add an "Identity Crisis" tag.
-
Sequel: English AND Japanese tags? Do we finally have a game with an identity crisis? Or is it the more boring and rational possibilities that you can switch languages in the same version of the game?

Mostly because I'm bored, I have decided to try and start a debate. The question: Should visual novels be classified as "games"? I propose they should not. While they are quite fun and entertaining, there is very little interactivity. I think it would be more appropriate to classify them as e-books. Added September 5th, 2018 8:41 EST: The debates seems to have narrowed in onto only two choices, game or book. While there is nothing wrong with arguing one of those two points, it was not my intent to limit this debate to ONLY those two choices, should somebody have another opinion on the m

I wonder if the artist for this game worked on the Grisaia series. The above picture as well as the font in the title remind me of those game and the girl does seem to resemble Michiru slightly.

ALL ABOARD! NEXT STOP: http://erogedownload.com/ !

I missing a detail. Can somebody explain how it is "broken" or provide a link to an article that explains that?

ACK! CHOKE! GAG! 25 PARTS! This one's going to take a while to download...

What game(s) specifically are you trying to download? I'll try to download them myself. Also, is the problem limited to any specific parts, or are all part files being a problem?

Can we put downloaded games into Steam?
Outpost Omega J replied to Naku-chan's topic in Eroge Tech Support
While I have no idea how to do that, I'm not sure you should even if you could. We are technically stealing from services like to Steam, not to mention the game creators. Do you really want to run the risk of bringing your self to the attention of the police if Steam realizes your using a pirated version of the game? After all, there is logical disconnect between the fact you have achievements for a game and that your account has no purchase record for that game, so how are you playing it to gain the achievements? All the police would have to do is get your billing address from steam to sta
