    No clue through official channels at this point in time. I don't remember seeing anything in Shiravune's (the publisher for the English version) twitter feed and their is nothing on their actual website. vndb.org doesn't have a release date, and while not an "official" source, they are usually pretty up to date on such things.

    @Henta20 I didn't say YOU where the one criticizing the VN. You, by you admission, haven't read any of this VN. I was just pointing out that as of the two (now three) chapters that I've read, those who actually read and were criticizing it where the ones in the wrong. Also, a mark against those criticizing individuals, the translators did this for free on their own time. They should be happy with what they get. Unless it's horrendous to the point of unreadable, they need to shut their traps.

    Now that I've been reading this title for a while, for what it's worth, here is my updated take on the "translation" since some people seem to have concerns about it. First, a disclaimer: I don't speak, write, or read Japanese, so I can't actually speak to the quality of the "translation" at all. All I'm really speaking to is the quality of the English product I'm reading. I've played through what I believe to be the first two "Chapters" of this title. I'm defining the end of one chapter and the beginning of the next by (technically a minor spoiler, and I'm only 90% certain about my definition of a chapter) ... ...as these seem to be major branching points in the story. Through out the first two chapters, I've found the text to be entirely readable. I've encounter only one instance of a jumbled line, but it is still easy to comprehend what it was trying to say. Given that it was the only instance, in two whole chapters, I'm personally inclined to forgive the screw up entirely under the "nobody is perfect, you can proof read something a dozen times and still not catch every mistake" clause of being a good person. If any additional mistakes through out the rest of VN are essentially no more frequent than that, then on the whole, I would have to call this a quality translation effort so far and the people who criticizing it are being hypersensitive perfectionists at best or elitist pricks at worst. While It is still possible the quality takes a nose dive in later chapters, assuming that it doesn't and stays at the high quality level I've seen so far, the "quality of the translation" is not a reason to stay away from this VN.

    I only just made it past the portion before the opening movie plays, which is a fairly lengthy prologue. I'm enjoying it so far. I don't speak Japanese, so I can't vouch one way or the other for the "translation", but I've seen nothing objectionable so far about the writing in terms of grammar or consistency. If you told me this was an English VN from the get go, I would have no evidence to contradict that.

    Getting this game to run in full screen might take a bit of tweaking. Here's what I had to do. -Right click on BGI.exe and open the properties window. -Under the Compatibility Tab, check the box for "Disable fullscreen optimizations"

    Nice! I was aware of the existence of this title for a while and was hoping somebody would pick it up for a translation effort! Better yet, vndb.org does NOT list rape as any of the tags!

    As the Time Stamper, even if I'm retired, I'm calling a time-stamping foul! This title was not posted "4 hours ago" (as of when I wrote this post). I happened to be online and browsing the site when it was uploaded. It was upload, at most, 15 minutes ago.

    Is this also in the original Japanese? Is it a shameless plug by NekoNyan, the translator/publisher of the English version? Or is it the sole reason why NekoNyan translated and published this title in the first place?

    Quoted from the vndb.org description for the VN "Anonymous Code: This blatantly fails the Suspension of Disbelieve test. No scientifically advanced nation cable of mounting orbital weapons worth the name would let such an obvious technological shortcoming cause such a catastrophe, let alone ALL of them. They would have patched this problem out of existences years if not decades in advance, or at the very least, issued a shut down/disarm command before the problem occurred.

    I'm about 2.5 routes through Walkure Romanze and it just occurred to me that I find the use of Japanese honorifics to be suspect in this instance, not just in the translation, but in the original Japanese version* as well. The setting is in a fictional (<-- I think) European city. Europeans would not be using Japanese honorifics. As such, the only time they potentially should be showing up in the dialogue is when either the protagonist or Akane are speaking as their characters are actually Japanese. Even then, the use of Japanese honorifics could still be viewed as suspect. Neither character is actually speaking Japanese in the internal logic of the story even if the text on screen you the player is reading is in Japanese and the protagonist has been living in the country already for several years. As such the protagonist at least should be reasonably fluent in and used to the linguistic conventions of whatever language they are actually speaking, although Akane might have been living there for a far shorter time, so it's understandable that Japanese honorifics slip regularly into her speech. ---------------- *I'm assuming the original Japanese version used honorifics based on the fact that one of the two version of the English patch "keeps" the Japanese honorifics.

    I can no longer access the Fuwanovel Forum thread for the Aiyoku No Eustia translation project. To date, i've just been following the link supplied on the vndb.org page (posted here for convenience: https://forums.fuwanovel.net/topic/16982-aiyoku-no-eustia-translation-project/) but now I just get a "You do not have permission to view this topic" message. I tried approaching from the front door of the Fuwanovel website so-to-speak and can not even find it. Does anybody know what happened? Is the project even still live?

    I have the game, purchased from steam and patched from nekonyan, but I haven't played it yet. I've been busy with Walkure Romanze. I probably won't being switching to clover days anytime soon. Once I do start playing it, I will let you know if I encounter the problem.
