Hm.... well I'd say with eroge no I haven't been caught. Though once (or maybe a few times) when my cousin came over to play my xbox360, I was playing.... Sengoku Rance? and I just told him to ignore everything over where I'm at. Of course I skipped any of the sex scenes and said to myself I'd just save 'em for later. I think it was sorta awkward for him though. Especially since he doesn't like anime (and so anything anime related) and he doesn't get why I play VNs and Eroge.

Well I don't have an absolute favorite but I like F/SN. I haven't found a game that is so actiony and where you die alot but is still really funny. Plus there's Illya. G-Senjou is another. The main ending really got to me for some odd reason. I had stuff come close before but nothing like G-Senjou. Then there is Sengoku Rance. I hate the guy personally, but he is also the biggest reason the game is so damn fun. There are others I really like but those are the ones that I could think of first. On a kinda off topic note. I seems that a lot of the same games are people's favorite. I was kinda expecting a whole ton of different games but it turns out a lot of them are the same.

The black stone part is probrably wrong but the second part is... damnit.

Here's mine. I haven't seen anyone else's yet but but I get the feeling my list isn't so big compared to others. Then again, I would say I'm pretty new to VNs and stuff lol.

Well my journey into the world of eroge is quite long (it's at least one big paragraph long). The first spark that got me into eroge would be Shuffle! (the anime). It was the second anime I ever watched off the internet (which I wanna say... around 3-4 years ago). I thought it was hilarious and everything (and still do). Though it was the second time I watched about 6 months later that I found out it was based off of a visual novel. I was trying to get my stepbro even more into anime and we ended up watching shuffle together we had a great time watching it (plus I kept lying to him about the ending and screwing with his head). Then I was doing random research on it on Wikipedia out of boredom and that's where I found out it was based on a VN. My first thought was (I think) "Wait it's an 18+ game? That's the first time ever hearing about one". So I clicked on the Wikipedia link to visual novels and found out what they were. So I decided to search for the Shuffle! game but all I found was the ps2 version on Hongfire as a torrent. Now I decided to download it and that became my first ever torrent. Now after a WEEK of downloading it (seriously I'm not exaggerating. it was literally a week to DL it) I found out I couldn't play it (Even if I could I doubt I could understand it since I would have to rely on my stepbro's questionable japanese skills). So it just sat on my old comp forever. Instead I decided to look for free VN's (I had no idea pirating existed) only to find out most of them cost money. I did however find two free VN's Though neither of them was was 18+ so they weren't eroge. That was the first spark. The second spark came about a year (or maybe 2 years?) later. After watching Fate/ Stay Night a few months earlier. (Now this part is a little more fuzzy in my memory but I sure it's 90% accurate) I found out that F/SN was also a VN like the old Shuffle! anime and Higurashi (which I found out that too is VN but never looked into it.) and decided to look around for the F/SN game. Now this time I knew about pirating. So I went to the torrent site that my internet friend showed me (more or less) and looked for it. This time I found it and it was bundled with the translation patch. I got it and played the whole thing and it was at least 20x better then the old VN's that I played a long time ago. I played it, enjoyed the hell out of it, and then got pissed off there was no Illiya route (she is still one of my favorite lolis... that is when she's lovable and not homicidal). That was my first eroge ever. But I still wasn't fully into the world of eroge. I was more like standing on the edge of it while the eroge world was like, "Come over to the Darkside. We have have cookies, er... I mean Hentai." Now who could resist that? Well except for my stepbro. He doesn't like hentai at all... Anyways I ended finding out a game called tsukihime is loosely related to F/SN and so I played that as well. Now the spark was turning into a flame lol. Now, about 6 months ago I decided to look for more VNs and stumbled upon this awesome site and downloaded some eroge that I got bored of quickly and is still on my comp . But that was the final spark that lead to the bonfire known as the world of Eroge. Using the combined powers of this site and another that calls itself the visual novel database or something, I swiftly downloaded and played a bunch of Eroges and/or VNs that I wish I knew about sooner. Though there are still a whole ton I have yet to play. Ok that was 3 paragraphs long but oh well. Well the last one isn't really a paragraph, but oh well who cares. Anyways, that's how I discovered the awesome world of eroge.
