It's still one of my favorites, but the ending was, like I said, "competent AT BEST." At worst it wasn't an ending. They left out the fight against the mage of the begining. They never showed any back story for certain characters. They didn't decide which one Negi picked. They never said what happened to Negi's Mom. They didn't say whom Setsuna and Konoka got married to. They didn't really show what life was like now that the magic world and the old world were properly linked. There are only 2 Negima! anime series, 2 OVA series, 2 OVA episodes, and 1 movie. wow......... I would recomend this to most of you guys here because of all the topless scenes and all the lewd jokes (particularly when involving banannas). However, the animation is below what was standard for 2007 when it came out (it looks old style to me). The music is ok but forgetable, I guess it does go well with the scenes. The story has some interesting plot ideas but they could have expanded or explaine a whole lot better on a few things, the ending was good enough though. Although if I were not being objective, I would say that I truely liked this show.

What are you talking about? The Negima! Manga Ending was competent at best. The Anime Final movie was just silly, check UTW fansubs for a torrent download of it.

I agree with you on the Demoness, Id be to worried about dieing horribly to get anything done. Also on the elf, unless I were to live that long as well. But I chose angel over cat-girl because I like the wings, and because Angels are "purer" you have more fun turning them dirty. LOLZ But seriously I like the angels more simply because they are pure. and also because of that you as a person would become more pure. Doesn't mean you wouldn't do echhi stuff, it just that would be the bonus of the relationship not the focus. For example:

you mean the fact that they don't look a like (the mother and Rea)? doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that ciurcumstance. technically the father doesn't look like Rea either.

one other thing to like about this anime, there was no ecchi stuff as i recall, which is extremely rare these days. And yes there is a movie trillogy but it isn't a sequel. first movie is going to be a retelling of the story, second will be a expansion of Homura's "past", and the third is going to be a Prequel to the story. At least from what i've heard.

I didn't really see the cliffhanger in this episode, but otherwise all I have to say is OUCH!!!!! that had to hurt. I hurting just thinking about it.

I just checked vndb.org and then the english publisher. On the publisher website it says "The game features the original Japanese voices along with an accurate English translation." Hitomi, My Stepsister (PC CD-ROM & Download) | G-Collections" take it or leave it.

I highly recommend this series to any and all anime fans/otaku. Particularly if you like: Yuri, Loli (I don't care if they are 14 years old, the girls all look loli to me), Mahou Shojou, Tragedy, Love story, Fighting, and (any more would be big story spoilers). The Story has no gaps as far as I can see and plenty of backstory that is awesome. The Music is excellent, it accents and follows the story nigh perfectly. The Animation, while I think could be better (the eyes man), actually works for the way the story is portayed If anyone else has seen this anime answer me this one questio

i have to agree desi, the happy ending are nice and all, but they don't happen in real life. The sad or bittersweet endings are the ones you remember. I guess i do have to admit that happy ending are nice everyonce and a while.
