I don't think that you'll find anything awesome in hoshimemo but the overall experience is damn smooth. And that's exactly the reason for it being so enjoyable. The visual novel itself is mainly focused on the characters, the story isn't bad but nothing outstanding. Whatever, it's a smooth read without any major weaknesses and definitely worth its time IF you like the characters.

True, just take a look at clannad. It's 15+/all ages and romance is THE topic of this visual novel. I can't agree with this though, then again, I didn't play all routes.

It's in my case a little bit more complicated. I've nothing against robots in general but I totally hate robot fighting stuff. I'm fine with mecha as long as I don't have to see any battles. Then again, is there a mecha anime, or visual novel, without fighting scenes? I don't think so.

Actually, nearly all protagonist are oblivious to love, especially when we're talking about slice of life stuff. It's usually like this... "Wanderer, I love you." "What? You love me?" "Yeah. I loved you the whole time." "Seriously? I never realized that." "Are you stupid? Why should I eat with you every fuckin day? Why would I try to help you in every god damn situation even if it's a huge pain in the ass? Why should I try to be alone with you? Why would my behaviour change in your near?! And why the hell would I blush when talking to you?" "Eh, because we're friends?" "OH SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!"

Count me in for not liking mecha stuff. I can deal with it though.

You should take the first mirror though, it gives you at least something around 120kb/s. The other mirrors are 30-50kb/s highspeed hosters. It took me something around 1,30h to download the game, it better be worth it.

It's basically an eng sub version of the game. You'll hear japanese voices and have to read the english subtitles to understand the game. Also, the sex scenes are uncensored.

Good attitude. People are always complaining about anything but I'm pretty sure that those people will use your da capo 3 translation when/if it's released. I personally prefer a "proper" translation but what the heck, that annotplayer thingy is also fine. By all means, keep it up.
