  1. Hey Desi.

Another year has passed so I think it's okay if we exchange one message, we don't want to overdo it right?

How have you been? I hope you and your family are doing good.

  2. Yo it's me again! A relic of the past that nobody remembers. I'm just quickly dropping by in order to leave a quick thank you, for keeping up this news thread. Much appreciated.
  3. This is nothing but a short message in order to say, thank you for always sacrificing your free time for these Visual Novels Translation Status threads. I really appreciate it.
  4. It all went downhill for them with the release of Supipara. Their original plan was to create a massive Visual Novel and to split it into three parts. However the first part did so bad they were forced to abandon the whole project. From that point on they had to face a bankruptcy crises and so they switched over to create less cost-intensive (you might even say more mainstream) Visual Novels. Unfortunately none of their following works could turn enough profit to get back on track. All things considered, they were around for a long time. Most Visual Novel companies release a single title an
  5. First search result for "Bishoujo Mangekyou Walkthrough" on google... Bishoujo Mangekyou: A Girl's Cursed Legend - Walkthroughs - Fuwanovel Forums
  6. 1) A game is something you do for the sake of entertainment. - You play Visual Novels for the sake of entertainment, so yes it is a game 2) A video game is an electronic game where you control the graphical images on a video screen. - While it isn't much you do control the game through clicking and advancing the text, picking choices etc, so yes it is also a video game At least from my understanding. Edit: I guess a better word to describe most Visual Novels would be interactive game.
  7. Hey Desi!

I hope you had a relaxing christmas time as well as a great new year's eve =)

It is quite surprising to see how many of the old members are still around, although mostly just as lurkers... including myself haha ^^'>

    How are you doing?

Edit: For some reason my PC nearly died after clicking on "post message" ... this is off to a great start

  8. 1. So what is this title about? Let me do a quick sear.. 2. OH FUCK IT HAS KITSUNE HEROINES!!! 3. But why does nobody talk about it? 4. Seems like its translation is rather bad. 5. ...it is bad 6. sadface.jpg
  9. Sorry for the extremly late response ^^`>

I am still alive but I wouldn't call myself active. The only thing I do regulary is to check the vntl thread.

Otherwise I'm just your casual lurker.

I do remember your name though! =)

I wish you a happy new year!

  10. I'm not going to update this thread anymore because I stopped being a backer. There was just too little progress overall, at least in my opinion.
  11. Also apparently they already translated the entire game, they "just" need to proofread and edit everything.

    Maitetsu

1.3 is the current version of the restoration patch and iirc the "only" thing it does is to switch out censored CGs with the original ones. The only other patch I'm aware of is the DEMOSAIC patch which removes one layer of mosaics because for some reason they added two. Be sure to pay attention to the download links since there's always a version for the steam and the fakku version. Edit: Reminds that I still have to read Maitetsu...
  13. It seems like they plan to go through the entire series, at least the next game Bishoujo Mangekyou -Katsute Shoujo Datta Kimi e- is getting translated by them as well.
  14. Hey there!

I'm not sure if you can even remember me since for the last 3 years I was inactive as fuck but I'm slowly getting back into Visual Novels and hence I've got a reason to use this site again.

Besides slapping you on the back for the site itself, and it still having an active user base, I just want to ask you a simple question: "How have you been?"

  15. Sadly I think it's just a matter of time until they get a c&d however there's always the chance that afterwards Key will ask them to help with/work on an official release of the game. Personally I'm quite excited about Lamunation. It looks silly and chill as fuck, perfect for relaxing after a hard day of work... and 2 heroines with heterochromia. Oh yeah!
  16. The issue is that for some reason they are only targeting (let's use their vocabulary) anime games so far. I wonder if they will also go for games such as Witcher 3. On the bright side...
  17. I updated my first post and added some new links including the Fuyuko Build.
  18. I'm not a person who watches a whole lot of Anime and so I actually haven't seen all the popular ones but here are some I would like to mention. Spring Kuzu no Honkai: Not really an Anime I would ever recommend but it tried something different, and new things are always welcome. Rewrite 2nd Season: Was it good? Hell no. I only listed it up because of how much better it was than its first season. Spring SukaSuka: Definitely my favourite Anime of 2017, at least so far. I really liked the more realistic approach on the character interactions. Also the last episode is so good... IF you i
  19. I had this game on my wishlist for a long time now. I'm happy it got a translation after all.
  20. VNDB list with all the Visual Novels released between 2012 to now (sorted by rating) Can't recommend you anything since I don't know what you like.
  21. Let me sum up my impressions of the spring and summer season, both not really that great imo. Spring Shingeki no Kyojin Season 2 A solid second season, can't really say anything bad about it. I didn't like the pacing of some episodes but it wasn't really that bad. Of course the whole titan thing didn't have the same impact like it had in the first season but that's to be expected. Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records This anime will stay in my mind forever, because the first season was 100% slapstick comedy. I re-watched it directly after having finished it once. So good. Eve
  22. Doki Fansubs made a translation patch for it in 2012 (for the 1.1 version of the game) but the game got an official release on Steam later on in 2016 (memorial edition) so you can't download the original patch from the Doki Subs website anymore. I'm pretty sure you can either download the 1.1 version pre-patched or can find the doki patch somewhere nevertheless* *since the memorial edition adds some new stuff (which wasn't really impressive or important imo), but has still a huge flaw: the changed ending. (It also doesn't contain any sex scenes which to be frank were shit and badly placed
