I believe that clannad's biggest advantage, I'm talking about the anime, is its length. You've much more time to see the relationship between Nagisa and Tomoya, and because of this the sad scenes have way more power than the ones of air. And that's exactly the problem of air. Its storytelling is too freakin fast and can be confusing as hell. Whatever, just enjoy the stuff you enjoy.

I believe you mixed something up. I was ONLY talking about the ending, not the rest of the game. Let's take f/sn as an example. The game itself is great BUT this doesn't change the fact that its endings are, in my opinion, not as good as other ones. The game itself IS better than most games I played but I can't say the same about its endings. And I don't need awesome endings either but let's be honest, if you can choose between a conclusion and an awesome ending, what would you take? B-But I want a game like that! =\ -
Yuri without H is called shoujo-ai, dammit!!! On a serious note, the game doesn't look that interesting, be sure to inform me if it's worth its time. Sounds like an awesome plot. And that's exactly my problem. I read too many visual novels with an awesome ending and so I tend to not enjoy good endings in the same way like other people because they're crap compared to the awesome ones. Oh and never, never read spoilers, especially if they're about the game you're currently playing.

True, I would be very thankful if somebody could explain me the ending. I don't care about people's reaons for playing visual novels as long as they enjoy those amazing games.

Well yeah, I do agree that clannad's level of sadness is higher than air's but if you cleared the game for 100% then air's sadder (because of spoiler reasons I mentioned before).

I definitely have to agree with this. I hate shirou for many reasons but f/sn would have been pretty boring if the protagonist would be rance... Actually, that would be awesome. ANYWAY, I don't want to start another Shirou hate thread and so I'll stop myself from saying anything more. Also desi-chan, finish that god damn game asap. I hope that you'll dislike the ending as much as I did, gahahaha~

Yep and it's even more hilarious in Carnival Phantasm - MyAnimeList.net , you definitely have to watch this show after having finished f/sn and tsukihime.

I tested the game with some other guys but it wasn't worth it. We mainly raged about it and damn, that skype conversation was so much better than the whole game. Sorry but I can't see the sense in an online visual novel. Anyway, each their own, I personally think it's crap.
