^Quoted for truth. In addition to basic survival needs, people have to fulfill cognitive needs as well, and storytelling is something that people do to sate that need. Who doesn't like hearing a good story? Nobody. You'll never meet a person that dislikes all of the stories that they've heard, nor will you find anyone that has never heard any stories before. So why do we get 'angry over 1s and 0s'? Because we're people and we like our stories. The truth is, it would be 'complete ridiculousness' for somebody to feel absolutely nothing about stories.

Just as an update, Koihime Musou has been really good so far! It's too bad that I don't know anything about the actual Romance of the Three Kingdoms story, so I'm not getting a lot of the references to it, but the story has been good so far regardless. I'm going with the Aisha route first, but I'm not sure which of the other two will come next yet. I am looking forward to the harem ending though lol Edit: Double post FTW

I just started Koihime Musou yesterday, and I cringed when this guy suddenly flooded my screen. I had a terrible premonition that in this world, girls are attracted to girls and guys are attracted to guys exclusively, since they kept showing you that country with the lesbian leaders and now this guy is attracted to the MC. Had to think waaaay back to the beginning to remember the guys in the first village that had wives and children, which made me sigh in relief lol

Looks like the poll is leaning ever closer to the 'none' choice, but there's decent resistance coming from the other three categories combined lol. Come to think of it, I do have one friend who I can see playing eroge. He's had a huge library of manga ever since middle school, including many perverted ones (his parents bought him a lot of stuff without investigating it at all lol), but I don't think he wouldn't be patient enough to stick around with one story for 10-30 hours. I've never asked if he even likes hentai, but I would be surprised if he didn't.

So far, my most hated character is definitely Shinji. He annoys you for just long enough to cause problems, then when he's finally gone, the things he did are still causing problems. Then when the next route begins, he's f*cking back to mess with you again! On a side note, I actually really like Shirou, but it sounds like I might be the minority here? This is surprising to me.

I've wanted eroge to go on longer more times than I've felt they were too long, but naming an actual number is pretty hard for me. The story should go on for as long as it needs in every case, however. F/SN took me like 50 hours to finish and my body was still ready for much more.

I've heard of both cases, but I'm curious to see just how many of us have found comrades in our real lives that play eroge as well. As for me, I don't know anyone who plays eroge and I don't think anyone else knows I do. Must be nice...

Finished Tears to Tiara about a month ago and then got assaulted by schoolwork, so my hands have been tied until now. I really liked the idea behind Arawn's identity and the implications of it, but some of the other characters kinda put me off a little. Overall a pretty good game, though not as good as the other Leaf game I've played (Utawarerumono).

Capcom has screwed a lot of people over lol. I still haven't forgiven them for ending the megaman battle network series for the GBA back in the day. On topic: That was a good story, cerxer1. The most I've got is a failed attempt at a childhood friend, because I haven't actually talked to her since we were kids. I hear about her now and again because our moms were best friends through highschool and college. Damn you, my seven year old self! Why didn't you make any moves back then!?

Yeah, for me it was like, "Oh man, this world is disgusting, what is he really doing when he spends intimate time with Saya, what does she really look like, is she going to eat him, oh my god did she just kill somebody..." and so on lol. It was really interesting and I couldn't stop playing until the end, but I didn't 'enjoy' it in the traditional sense.
