I will say as much as I can without spoiling, but Alternative is arguably very romance based but if you're in it for h-scenes, you'll be disappointed. But I mean, it isn't the highest rated VN on vndb for no reason.

They were mostly there because the VN was pretty popular and I guess most people who read that read MLA (in Japan anyways). yeah, I hear good things about Rumbling Hearts. Supposedly it has a good chance of getting translated if the kickstarter for Muv-Luv is successful. I'm sure you remember some of the characters from Muv luv Alternative.

^Trilogy meaning Muv-Luv (which consists of Muv-Luv and Muv-Luv Unlimited) and Muv-Luv Alternative. These will be released at the very least as long as the kickstarter goes normal. Other novels related to Muv-Luv or spinoffs, etc will probably depend on how much they raise. We'll know for sure pretty soon what the rewards and stretch goals will be, as the kickstarter is going to launch in September.

Lol you seem to be into harem type shows lately (Nisekoi, Trinity, Kore Wa I guess). I"m not sure how much you're into ongoing anime, but Gangsta is a very solid airing anime right now. Explores themes not seen in a lot of anime (prostitution, drugs, the underworld in general).

Hey, not much is really happening. I'm pretty far into Danganronpa and it's been a really good treat so far. I'll be sure to post a review of it after I finish it up. And what is this, getting offers for hooking up with Japanese females.. i'm jealous.

Sekai Panel Tenshin Ranman - There was a pretty bad translation/project of this from Craneanime (haven't heard that in a long time), but looks like they will officially pick this up. Magical Girl Chiru Chiru - Will be out on Steam before the month is over. Koestl is NOT involved in this translation and has said it is a very questionable translation. Frontwing apparently wanted to push for it to be out now, and Sekai had no control over it. Koestl will plan to translate this later on. Since it contains references to the sequels, not recommended to be read until you finish the trilogy.

My question is, do you still need the eroge part to read the visual novels? There are a lot of great VNs out there which don't contain it... there are obviously great VNs out there that contain it as well. I know it seems like your first two visual novels have been bad experiences, but story-wise, there are definitely a lot of titles out there with a better story than Hoshizora. I thought Hoshizora was good but I can see why people might not like it. Also, not required at all, but Sekai project is releasing G-Senjou this summer, officially localized.. if you can wait a little while longer,
