The only full release of Katawa Shoujo available right now is in English. There is currently no download/patch out for the full Japanese translation.

I've only played 1 and 4 so far, but I recently bought 2, 3, and peacewalker. My favorite so far is Metal Gear Solid 1. I think my favorite is definitely going to be Metal Gear Solid 3.. we shall see. But i've definitely enjoyed all the MGS titles I've played so far. Also, Meryl = Classic tsundere +1

I heard it happens parallel to the events of Alternative...though i'm not exactly sure. I heard this was sort of a "test" case to see how well it would sell.. maybe they'll move onto the translated VNs if it does well enough. I sort of doubt it though.

I'm not sure if there is. On the TLwiki page, they mention that you should Backup your GAMEEXE.INI and SEEN.TXT before installing the patch. You might have to start again.

Yes, definitely focus on Muv Luv first, but Rewrite is definitely worth a look after you're done. It looks really solid. Plus, it's Key.

Yeah, HF really does a good job in tying a lot of the material from the previous two routes while also maintaining a unique sense of identity and atmosphere. It's a must-read IMO.

If you're wondering where some of the other characters are from, they are mostly from other Age VNs that have the same setting/took place in the same world as Muv Luv Extra. Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (one of those Classic VNs which never quite got a translation, although it supposedly has a very good anime out) and Kimi ga Ita Kisetsu

Like harle said, the monologue near the end about chuunibyou was awesome.. combined with the scenes Only thing I felt was that there wasn't exactly a lot of closure, but hopefully the OVA will answer that (hoping it isn't just fanservice) I laughed at this scene. Definitely gets a solid 9 from me.

This way, you can fully represent yourself in the review and give a score that fits your own personal taste. This is your opinion after all and you should give it what you think it deserves, and not give it a higher score just because there are certain guro lovers around

How about Aoishiro? Not sure if you're looking for 18+ material as well, but Aoishiro looks like it has a pretty good story. I have a torrent for it and there are links on here for it as well.. once upon a time, there were MF links available for it and that's where I downloaded it from... unfortunately, the links are dead. EDIT: Some interchangeable links for Aoishiro. Sugar's Delight might be an option.. but it's sort of like Sono Hanabira.. just a nukige. It's a OELVN. Sugar's Delight.
